Gallery Stage — Local services in Cumberland

The Ferleman Gallery Stage is a beautiful listening room. The stage is lovely (velvet curtains, rich rugs, and professional lighting), and the audience seating is perfect (angled four-tops with comfortable chairs). The size of the room ensures that everyone gets a good spot. When I performed, the team was still learning their sound system, but we pulled it together for a nice night of song and story.

Beyond the physical elements, I enjoyed stellar hospitality from the hosts, Tom and Becky Ferleman. The two were so thoughtful - genuinely appreciative of my music and message, generous with compensation and accomodations, friendly and energized. I appreciated the effort they put into drawing connections between the artwork displayed in the gallery and my own work as a songwriter.

Staff seemed happy to be working the event. They playfully joked around with me in the green room. They hyped up my vocals and aesthetic with plenty of kind words. I think that a happy team reflects good leadership.

Overall, I'm so pleased with my experience as a musician performing at The Ferleman Gallery Stage. I hope they'll have me back...

The Gallery Stage is an outstanding addition to the burgeoning music and arts scene in the greater Cumberland area. The performing arts stage sits slightly elevated from the inviting tables that fill the room. While the carefully selected lighting sets the appropriate mood for each artists unique personality, the truly inviting aspect to all of it is the sound. Tom and Becky Ferleman chose to locate their world class Ferleman Art Gallery in the heart of downtown Cumberland, Maryland. Inside, you will also find a space called the Gallery Stage. The Gallery Stage is a classy, intimate music venue, with excellent acoustics.
