This used to be an amazing Goodwill, but what's the point of a "thrift store" now that they jacked up the prices and take it upon themselves to decide which items are too nice for poor people to be able to afford? Everything in stock is literally donated to the store, so there is no reason why a decent coat should be priced at $30... I've even seen coats there priced as high as $60. Someone donated these items thinking they're helping people who may not have a lot of money buy something nice for themselves, not so Goodwill could make a nice profit off their donation. Nothing in the store should be more than $15 in my opinion. $20 at the absolute max, but even that is pushing it, as again, these items are DONATED. At the same time as prices have soared, quality has gone downhill at this location; lots of stains and rips on low-quality, overpriced clothing, and general neglect of the store. One of the dressing room stalls doesn't lock properly and I've been walked in on multiple times while changing. All things considered, I'm done with Goodwill and will find a more affordable thrift store in the area to shop at when I need clothes. I certainly won't be donating my used clothes to goodwill anymore, I would rather my donation go to people in need at an affordable price, not to a greedy organization that pats itself on the back for "changing lives" and basically poses as a charity. Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is cuz I really used to love this place, and to be fair, there is a huge selection at this store to look through. But it's not worth it anymore when a small bag of thin clothing ends up costing over $40, and you then notice a stain on your $10 jeans which should have been priced at $5 or less. There are literally items in this store that have the original price tag which is CHEAPER than the goodwill tag! Insane. Think of how much clothing just ends up in a landfill eventually anyway when it doesn't end up selling. There is so much clothing being donated to these stores day in and day out. Just price it cheap, I promise you people will still spend as much as they would have anyway, they'll just be able to buy more items with their money.

Got me a slow egg cooker and it works great ๐Ÿ‘ Going back today to get some other stuff ๐Ÿ˜ƒ woohoo ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ™Œ One problem which I have is the staff of ladies hang out yukking it up laughing like hyenas and when you ask for help, not one knows what to do or say. They look at you and say I don't know! What are they there for I ask myself ๐Ÿ˜”. Just the other day Tuesday Morning I found a crepe maker but I couldn't figure out how to open it and the Spanish speaking women were offended by me asking them for help! Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹ I thought that you had some ideas but I was wrong. I'll be back because I like the selections but I won't be asking La Niรฑa for assistance again. If I was rating the help I would give them a 2 out of 5. Management needs to talk to them please.

This used to be my favorite branch, they merged both stores (clearance and regular price) and it does not feel the same. I stop by once a year but is not to go goodwill. Although I understand the mission of the store and I support it by visiting other goodwills, the lancaster ave is not the same for me. They do have a variety of clothing which is conveniently organized, so I do recommend this place.

If I could I would give a negative review. This store has had issues with cleanliness on floors and dressing rooms but today I am writing about an experience I just had.

My car had pulled into a parking space in Goodwill's area.. Giant's neighbor. There was glass all over the space and I only saw it after I got out of my car. Nice sized sharp pieces were under and all around the car. A store worker said her manager Anna Nieves wouldn't do a thing to help clean it up. The manager at Goodwill refused to help in any way and had a smirk on her face. She was smiling when they first told her about it. I went to Giant for help and their young man Alan came out and we cleaned it up. Thank you Alan for being a sweet man and helping me. You are very much appreciated. I gave Giant a great review and spoke with their manager.

Here is an example of two businesses side by side. One values its customers and the other is rude and unwilling to do the right thing. Shame on you Anna Nieves. ...

Please be aware that the $2.50 "T-Shirts" are only for blank t-shirts without graphics/printing/pockets. A T-shirt with a word printed on it will cost you $2 more, $4.50. The same price as a long sleeve button down dress shirt and a dollar less than sweaters/sweatshirts. Jackets that have any recognizable logo/brand/team on them are upwards of $15. Shirts with a Polo horse/Nike swoosh/Adidas Trefoil, are at least 25% more expensive than their comparative pieces. We get it, Goodwill is non-profit, helping out the less fortunate, but really, the price gouging is becoming a deterrent. $80 shoes in the glass case, selling on marketplace platforms for half of that. Not sure what the point is, other than to provide the executives with more 7-figure salaries. Who are we, as shoppers, REALLY helping..? Time for some serious competitors to be introduced to keep you, the monopolizers,...
