Alright, so one time I went to gamestop to buy a PS4 but none of my friends really played it and it was a brand new $400 PS4 and it was fun for a little but since a lot of my friends were on Xbox and they would constantly get on I decided I would switch out a brand new PS4 and it’s not even a month old. So we thought since it’s brand new we can switch it out for a Xbox. No that was not the case, they made us pay another $100-200 just for a USED Xbox 1. Didn’t come with headphones neither did it come with a good controller. So I went back to switch out the controller. Second controller I got it was even worse and it was smelly. So we returned that and last one the third one it was looking good I was testing out the buttons until I realized that the RB BUTTON was not working so my mom and I got mad and we went back and complained to them and we told them to give me a brand new controller for free. End of story the Xbox runs alright, not the best and the controller I got runs good all buttons work and it was Xbox 1 s controller too so yeah that was good but. Disappointed by Deceptive Pricing and Poor Customer Service at GameStop

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at GameStop. I visited the store to purchase a game that was clearly labeled and advertised for $49.99. However, when we reached the register, the price suddenly jumped to $69.99. When I asked the associate if they could honor the price displayed on the box, I was told they would not.

This lack of transparency and refusal to honor the listed price left my child heartbroken, as I wasn’t willing to pay the unexpected $20 increase. He left the store visibly upset—and understandably so.

I find it unacceptable for a company to mislead customers with outdated or incorrect pricing, especially when dealing with children and families. Retailers have a responsibility to clearly communicate prices and uphold what they advertise.

I sincerely hope GameStop reevaluates its policies and improves its customer service experience. Until then, I will be taking my business elsewhere—and I encourage others to...
