Will never shop here again. We purchased a hydro transfer pump that was supped to be brand new. When we put water in it and turned on the pump, it started sparking and rattling. The rattling appeared to be broken parts of the impeller. Upon further inspection we noticed the bottom of the pump had rust on it. We did noticed the box appeared to be reaped but we still purchased it because ALL the other boxes were retapped also. We purchased the 2 year warranty. When we returned it the following day we were told they couldn't take it back because we ran water through it Which? Is. Ridiculous because? If you do not run any water through it and turn it on you risk damaging it by running it dry so the only way you would know if it. Does not work is by running water through it.We were told that it's their policy to not accept the return if. Any water was ran through. When I asked about the warranty they said the best we could do is give you a gift card in 3 to 4 days by the mail if you submit online. As a plumbing contractor we spend thousands of dollars on tools at Harbor freight but after this experience we will be taking our business somewhere else. The woman manager was no help and showed no interest in trying to resolve...
Read moretoday was the first time I had ever set foot in this store at 1:59pm (time of purchase).... I went in with the hopes of buying an airbrush and making t-shirts for my kids. Instead, I got a defective unit. upon my return to the store (at 4:43 pm same day) and dealing with the store clerk and manager, my return was subject to a re-stocking fee! in total I ended up paying the store $18.00 to put back a defective unit back in stock (re-stocking fee). The air brush's paint reservoir would fall off, the manager's response was that is the common problem with those units.. that he has seen other types of defective. so "Aziz" well knowingly has and continue to sell RE-STOCKED DEFECTIVE units, maybe to keep charging customers the re-stocking fee.
Today this store has lost a referral ,a friend, and a customer. I will share with my friends on Twitter, Facebook, and Vine; this ridiculous experience. I hope that at least one person in the thousands sees and questions my thread, so that I can get the word out that Harbor Freight Tools cares nothing about first time and...
Read moreSo I just walked in this morning at about 9: 10:00 a.m. approximately because I was bragging to my 90 year old father about how nice the people are there and how I love the customer service. I walked in I wasn't acknowledged neither was my father and I asked some lady named Maria or Mara (her name is something like that) if they had magnets and she seriously had the worst look on her face.. A super bad attitude. I'm not sure if she thinks she's Jennifer Lopez and she's from the Bronx or something, but I even told the girl at the cashier that they were in a bad mood today. I will no longer be shopping at harbor freight. You should educate your employees. Maybe you should send them to Publix so that they can learn customer service with a smile on their face. I know that we don't live in the best neighborhood, but hiring hood people doesn't give you guys a good name. My company will no longer be shopping there we will go to Home Depot. Not that their customer service is...
