I am a health insurance agent and this is the very best place to go when you need your computers fixed by professionals that truly care. My computer had stopped working all of a sudden and i tried to repair it myself (thought I could, I thought it was an easy task) wow was I wrong! I took it in and Victor explained to me my different options and what each would cost, he gave me his professional opinion yet he didn't try to push the most expensive one, that was a new one for me as in most businesses the sales people or the owners always opt to get the most out of your wallet. That was so nice to see and it made me feel really sure I made the right choice of going here specially since it was recommended to me by my son. In my effort to do a self repair I manged to delete or remove files from my hard drive or memory and i was terrified thinking I had lost very sensitive documents and pictures. Victor did explain to me that he would try his best to recover my files but also helped me realize that when your operating system becomes corrupt, files can get lost as well or become unrecoverable. I would say 95% of my files were recovered, I was so happy that almost all were salvaged that i truly didn't mind that the others that were not. I did learn one valuable lesson with this, and that is that it was my responsibility for doing my weekly backups and not waiting for havoc to strike. PC Techman Miami made me want to learn computer repairs for my dam self. I know the information is online just never invested the money and time because I'm a developer who works with software not hardware. Either way, no reason why I should feel like I'm at a scam car mechanic shop when trying to fix my pc. I legitimately tried to install my graphics card with the utmost care(because I know whats on it) and couldn't get it to fit properly so I stopped before I broke something put back my old graphics card. Turned on my pc and got back to work. Called around to pc shops and got a call back from this shop's Tech who wasn't in when I first called and said yea bring it over. Saved my work on my pc and my external harddrive; and headed to the shop.Guy installs the graphics card but says leave it with him for a day to fix the wires. Suggested a power supply which made sense and I said no problem I'll buy it.Next day my pc doesn't work blames me for trying to install graphics card after I told him I KNOW it wasn't my fault because I was working on it before I came to your shop. So I say undo everything because I'm taking it to another shop and when I come to pick it up he trying to act like I'm pulling a fast one on him and tried to act all hard with his arm resting on top of my pc as to prevent me from taking it or something. While I'm checking to make sure everything is there he's is trying to upsell me on why it was my fault and should just pay for the repair. When it comes to computers, one of the worse things to happen is when your computer zonks out because of an electrical power surge. If you live in South Florida, you know that those surges occur all too frequently. I had my computer die and was on the fence about purchasing a new one or trying to save the one I had. I knew about the PCTechman store in the neighborhood because we frequently buy pizza at Jerry and Joes, and I had seen the store for years. Knowing that the store had been there for many years and reading the many five star reviews, I took the PC and met Victor. I immediately felt better after meeting him; he was very professional and upfront about the possible problems with the PC. I was lucky; it was only my Power Control Unit. Victor was able to fix my computer on the same day, and the price was extremely fair. I know because I checked! I would not just trust anyone with my electronics. I have heard about too many horror stories with those big box stores. I feel much better knowing PCTechman is nearby if I have a computer problem. I recommend...
