I do not like to leave bad reviews, however I felt my story should be shared. I have been going to this place for over 2 years. This place is clean and I thought I found a nail technician for life. Rita would take care of my nails and feet and did the best job ever..Hands down. I start noticing how when it was time for my appointment I had to wait sometimes up to 30 minutes. This is with an appointment I made days before. So I wrote a review about my concern. The next time I had an appointment I asked the manager may I speak with her. We spoke and she expressed I should have spoke with her before I made the review. I do agree, I should have, however I did not. She could not understand why I felt the way I felt at that time I felt they did not appreciate my business. Granted, there are not that many African Americans who patronize the shop. I noticed how when other races had appointments there was no wait time as I set there waiting to be seen. So I said I will give them another chance. When I tried to get an appointment with Rita she was always unavailable after the review I wrote so I went to another tech. This past Saturday is what made me right this long review. I called to make an appointment with Rita just to see what would happen. The male answered and set my appointment for that day. I get a call within 15 minutes stating Rita is busy. So when do nail technicians deny service to customers. I can not assume anything , but is this okay with the company. I can truly say that it is evident that other races are treated better than African Americans. I always felt this way but last Saturday proved me right and I will not return. I advise other African Americans to spend their money where it is...
Read moreThis place is just absolutely top tier. When it comes to feet care I am VERY picky. This place never fails to satisfy me. My mother, boyfriend and I decided to come in today on a Sunday around 2:30pm, we waited a little bit to get seated. They ended up doing my boyfriends feet and he absolutely enjoyed every second of it, after him they did my mom and I. I ended up getting a manicure and one of the $60 dollar pedis with no knowledge that they closed at 5pm. Once I told them I wanted that pedi they didn’t hesitate to get started. I’m just absolutely astonished that they accepted me even though they knew how time consuming that pedi is. Anyway long story short, the wonderful lady that was doing my pedi stayed 20 minutes after closing time to gracefully finish my feet! I really wish i got her name:( but she is was just amazing, the amount of detail she put on my pedi even though they were closed was impeccable. I’m no new customer, i’ve actually been coming here for years, but this experience really opened my eyes and realized how kind people could be. It was seriously an honest mistake of mine that i didn’t realize they closed at 5pm on Sundays. 1000/10, Thank you Olive...
Read moreI would not recommend. There are plenty of nails and spas that go above and beyond in the area. The place appeared nice and has massage chairs. When I went in I specified that I wanted the basic pedicure ($25). They show me a drink menu and asked me to pick between a margarita, wine, infused water or soda. When asked how much then said free of charge. When they confirm which package I wanted I tell the basic. The cashier comes back to ask me for my drink and I told her someone was already getting them. She asked me to confirm again what package I was going with and when I confirmed the basic she tells me oh I'm sorry the margarita is only free with a more expensive package. I roll my eyes because I specifically told them to begin with the package I chose. The pedicure itself was mediocre. An older Asian lady managed to make by big toe bleed and didn't even clean it up. I had to ask them to clean and disinfect it for me. They didn't even offer a discount, just a measly apology. I still tipped the lady that did my pedicure because I'm certain she didn't cut me on purpose but all in all I would not...
