Especially if, like me, you have thick, curly/wavy hair, you know how hard it is to find someone you can trust who is truly knowledgeable about how to cut and style our hair. She has many years of experience and her professional expertise shows the moment you start to chat with her about what you want to do. And her laidback and welcoming personality immediately makes you feel comfortable, like you’re just hanging out with a friend. I don’t have a lot of time to spend on my hair and I had let it grow way, way too long. I wanted something easy and low maintenance, and decided on a shoulder-length layered shag. She literally transformed my hair into exactly what I had pictured! I can wear it natural and let the curls rule, or do a quick blow out for a straight, shaggy look. My hair is short and naturally curly and she did a great haircut that supported the way my hair naturally dries. I also had an accident about a year ago which caused me to have recent surgeries and take medications that have really damaged my hair. She is very thoughtful and communicative throughout the whole process, and was continuously checking in with me to see how I was feeling about my haircut through every step of the way. Unlike many hairdressers who do what they think is best for your hair without clear communication, Tracey did an excellent job of listening and delivering exactly what I asked for.
