Dr. Saporito is top notch in his field. We live 300 miles away and really wanted an expert to do melanoma in situ surgery, and quickly. I called his office on December 23rd late in the day and talked to Sharon. They were still open and helping customers!
Sharon even scheduled us for surgery on January 7 even though we would have to wait over a week here to get the pathology report to them. She was very kind and reassuring, as was her daughter, Keisha.
The surgeries went well, and this office operates ON SCHEDULE. 9am means 9am. We had to have another surgery the next day, and the Dr. knew that we had a flight home that night, so he took it upon himself to move us UP two hours to get us on our way. Dr. Saporito also CALLS the patient and leaves his CELL PHONE in case you need anything. Who does that these days?
Dr. Saporito does medicine the right way. There is no "God complex" and you can tell that he has a passion for what he does. He explains the situation thoroughly and then he's extremely quiet while he works. He's concentrating on his work.
We are extremely pleased and would recommend Dr. Saporito to anyone needing skin cancer surgery. We need more doctors like...
Read moreThis is my 13th Mohs surgery, but the first one by Dr. Saporito and his associate Dr. Wilder. I felt like I’d been bumped up to first class! Their commitment to excellence in every aspect of their practice sets this medical office head and shoulders above any I’ve dealt with. All of the office staff is friendly and helpful. Their office is spacious and modern, making it extremely comfortable for the usual waiting involved in Mohs. Dr. Saporito went the extra mile in explaining to me the specific type of my cancer and other non-surgical options that might be available, though with less certainty. His associate, Dr. Wilder, was equally communicative and kind in explaining all aspects of skin closure and post-op care. Both doctors called me at night to check on me and give me their cell numbers to use if I had any issues (which I didn’t). What a tribute they are to the achievement of excellent medical care and service for their patients!...
Read moreDr. Saparito was recommended for the basal cell in the crease of my nose. I had been through treatment for 2 others, on my face, with other doctors and had some of the absolute WORST MOHS surgery experiences! Last doctor in Dallas was supposed to be a plastic surgeon who did Mohs. After over 25 shots in the face and 85 stitches for a lesion no bigger than a pencil eraser, I had higher hopes with Dr. Saparito. NO LUCK! He said after removing the BC in the crease of my nose, I would probably have to be recommended to a plastic surgeon and he said there was a strong possibility the right side of my face wouldn't look the same as the left cheek area! I asked if he did the targeted radiation therapy. He doesn't and put it down. He needs to educate himself because that is EXACTLY WHAT I HAD DONE AND WILL NEVER EVER HAVE MOHS surgery again. I am cancer free! NO PAIN - NO SCAR...
