HOTWORX Richardson operates with a serious lack of transparency and ethics. I requested a copy of the agreement at sign-up but never received it until I tried to cancel. The cancellation policy was never disclosed, and I was only shown the final screen, which excluded key terms.
Once you sign, you only have 3 days to cancel—after that, you're locked in for 2 months. To terminate, you must give 60 days' notice and pay for 2 more months or pay a $99 + tax fee. Despite stating I did not agree with these terms, they still charged my card without authorization.

I also can not get over how inexpensive this place was compared to hot yoga or some of the other fitness studios with somewhat similar facilities. I have been a huge proponent for infrared saunas for years and HOTWORX combines the detoxification aspect along with a very strenuous workout. I come out feeling amazing. Tired but invigorated. Read moreUpdating to add once again the lack of communication from this place when things are happening. Try to come workout and couldn't get in because they were painting the door. Y'all should be sending out email blasts or change it in the app to where we are unable to book sessions. Me standing outside the door right now with booked sessions of absolutely ridiculous.
