Love this store. Previously gave the store a 5 star rating. However, watched and followed in a store that I frequent, is not a place I look to shop. So my last time there, out of the many many times, was my daughters and I poorest experience. I will go into detail with this experience.
So, after being followed around I am now at the register and my daughter had 3 pair of socks, all red tagged, all the same brand and type. However, one was priced higher than the other two. I was explained by the rude and racist cashier that the black pair is not marked the same because it was a black pair, of which I was ok with, but the way he said it as though, buy it or not because it was only a few dollars more. Yeah, that's nice! I proceed to tell him that I don't want them, he repeats what I say as if he were disgusted. So he then rings the next item that was red tagged as well. Then he looks at me and says, this cost $$$. I wanted to gasp, but I didn't, embarrassed but it happens often cause this is the society we live in. I mean really, as though I didn't know the cost of the product from there Designer Row and because I didn't pay the extra for the pair of socks that you explained that because they were black, you make the poor decision in advising me the price of the next item. So I responded. With a nod, a blink and pointed to my bag of purchase. I gave a side eye to my daughters letting them know that this behavior is unfair, rude and racist. Read moreNordstrom Rack, (Suzanne)(oriental lady) Had the worst customer service. I was not aware of the new policy to garments without tags. Unfortunately, one of the garments that I bought did not fit. No one address me about the situation when I had asked about a return. But Suzanne made sure to make me feel uncomfortable, like I was not educated, and I didn’t know how to read. At this point I did not feel welcomed anymore. I have been doing business with y’all for Christmas. Special holidays, and gift for birthdays. This is my second time having an altercation at this location. The first time it was not addressed. I just let it go. But Suzann decided to walk away while I was having a conversation with her and let another associate handle me the words were deal with the guest, please but I am not. It made me feel more at edge. I came looking for a shirt for my wedding tomorrow and I want look get anything for free. I just had to shirt that did not fit me. I politely asked them to throw it away and get discard the item. If was not going to get a refund or exchange. I was not even asked about my points or phone number. Read moreI love Nordstrom, typically. I love the rack typically as well but this specific one is horrible. The customer service is awful. There is one blonde manager lady that was of absolutely no help. They were doing the clear the rack sale and told me I couldn't return and repurchase for the deal. She told me my boyfriend couldn't even do it! Since when can you tell someone they aren't allowed to purchase something from your store? She said we had to wait 24 hours bc it was a process and they had to take it to the back and let it go back into inventory. Well, I went to the Nordstrom in Plano and they said that wasn't a policy at all. I went back to repurchase and they had sold them. 24 hours to process a return was a COMPLETE LIE. It hadn't even been 2 hours! The shoes were from Nordstrom direct so once they were sold, they were gone. Unbelievable. I love Nordstrom and I live upstairs from this one, but I will NOT be coming back. I'd rather drive to the one in Addison or Plano than deal with such awful customer service.
