I would like to preface this by saying that I ordered really late. Like 15 minutes before closing time LATE. As someone who works in food service I LOATHE these late night orders and quality may falter because I just want to get home. However, everything about this place, even when ordering at 1 in the morning, was absolutely exquisite. The presentation was amazing, the chopsticks are labeled with instructions on how to use them. Hell, even the napkins are nicely wrapped up with the soy sauce. They even gave me what I think to be a (complentary!!) seaweed salad that is absolutely scruptious cutely labeled with a cute daisy sticker wishing me a nice time with the order. The food was delicious. I ordered a Miami roll with jalapeños and a panic roll. I don't have pictures of the Miami roll as I basically inhaled it as soon as I got it, but their images are true to reality. The panic rolls jalapenos were all a consistent size, making each experience, well, consistent and delicious. This is the second time I've gotten food from this place. I used to get a beef bento box from a different place called tampopo on Greenville but that place closed unfortunately for me they had the best bento box I have ever had. I've tried quite a few places looking for something similar to no avail. The name sounded all too familiar and so I ordered on a whim. I am so glad I did. I've ordered the beef bento twice now and everything is absolutely delicious. I live fairly far away and I wasn't going to be disappointed if my tempura arrived a little less crispy than preferred, but to my surprise upon the first bite I had an audible crunch. The attention to detail is awesome I even had a little heart in the box made of carrots it was adorable 😍. The beef was seasoned to perfection. I also ordered a side of takoyaki which I did enjoy but personally I prefer with some scallions on top to cut through the richness of the sauce. This is definitely my new go-to place. I ordered delivery from this place. I liked it a lot. I got the tonkatsu and they were kind enough to throw in some beef gyoza for me to try. I really enjoyed both. The tonkatsu meal was standard and came with the tonkatsu itself, tonkatsu sauce, sticky rice, cabbage with sauce, a few cherry tomatoes, and wakame seaweed, as well as a side of miso soup. The tonkatsu breading is on the thinner side but it is good. I usually like my tonkatsu breading to be really crispy and thick, however, I don't mind this being thinner. It still had a nice crispness and it's probably on the healthier side that way anyway. The beef gyoza had a good flavor and I enjoyed them. I think they should've been crisped a little more.
