Lagos Kitchen — Restaurant in Dallas

This is a ghost kitchen which isn’t a problem. We had an issue choosing the correct intended entree because it wasn’t listed and there was one that looked like it could be what we wanted. When we got the entree we were confused and disgusted at whatever meat options were on there. I quickly alerted the counter representative and I told her I’m okay with having the meat stuff removed and still eating the rice if they could only replace it with plantains. She took it back and returned to me saying the kitchen refused. I left the plate and asked for a refund. We did not eat and did not take it. The lady put in for us to receive a refund. This raggedy business never contacted us to process the refund and never issued it either. A week goes by and I call the business to check on it and she acted oblivious and agreeing to replace it because she didn’t want to issue a refund. We were fine with that. Why did I get there and she intentionally cheated one of my meals with less plantains and went on to claim that they cost a lot and she was doing me a favor. This is woman failed to take a accounting for how poorly her system was set up, not including the vegetarian meal.

You know there’s a certain type of person who scams you on what you purchased, this place is it! For some rice and plantains… $23. Over priced, not worth it and not worth your time. Customer service straight trash. The counter rep at the ghost kitchen was actually great, but this specific business was not. Good luck if you order from there....

Don't order food through doordash with this restaurant.

I just ordered twice through doordash and I never received my orders. Everyone pointing fingers and don't want to take accountability. At the end of the day this is your restaurant. Make sure your food are delivered to your online customers and don't be blaming the drivers for stealing the food.

Edited: The doordash app is not designed for every restaurant. If you are noticing the same behavior pattern for your online orders not being delivered then consider dropping the doordash app and focus solely on other delivery apps. I won't be the first and the last to post or report about drivers not receiving their food and drivers stealing...

I never complain. In fact leaving this review pains me because I would love nothing more than to uplift and praise a fellow Nigerian. I seriously didn’t want to leave a bad review even after waiting an hour for my order but the Jollof rice is NOT FRESH at all. In facts it’s hard, I have had Jollof rice my whole life and this is just not acceptable at all. Plantains..burnt, chicken & Turkey…old. I even pushed that aside and tried the Ewa aganyin, it was goin in until I almost broke my tooth on rocks and stones in the beans. Thats was the tipping point for me. I’m sorry but this was the worst...
