This a 1 week later update for the review I sent last week below this update : I emailed the email address that the owner sent in reply to this review. They asked me for receipts, I sent a pic of the food and the order page from Uber Eats. told them the problem and they say they need to investigate!! Investigate what? Look at that trashy bowl & you want to investigate? Uber eats only gave me 2.00 refund for the missing noodles but the whole bowl was inedible is the main reason I left this review. Moon Bowls basically stole my money and gave me the runaround because I did not and would not eat that trash they sent me if it was my last meal. They don’t expect us to follow up by emailing them as suggested they just reply to make their business look good so others will think they are taking care of the problem. I’m here to let you all know that’s no so. It’s not a crime scene it’s food that you all messed up how long does that take to ā€œinvestigate?ā€ Keep the money you stole from me Moonbowls in exchange for that trash you sent me. I promise you I will NEVER eat here again. You will NEVER get my hard earned money again. Keep it up and you wont have a business at all. This is why people are not eating out as often anymore y’all don’t care & to think you all claim those bowls are made with love. If that trash you gave me is love I don’t want to know what hate is. No integrity. Just send me trash because I ordered and didn’t dine in or pick up. I was a manager in food service and I’d never do a customer like that. Your customers are who help you make your living. We are the reason you get a paycheck. (Last week’s review:)The first time I ordered delivery from them the food was good. This time I’m disappointed the baked tofu looks old and tasted old or over cooked and I ordered sweet potato noodles and there were no noodles in the bowl. This bowl was not made with love at all. I should’ve made my own bowl at home like I started to but didn’t since I had a long day. Next time I’ll save my money and cook my own food like I usually do. No one cares anymore in these restaurants about the quality of the food they give to customers. I paid $20.00 for something that I’m not eating. The old stale tofu messed the whole order up.

We recently ordered catering for a 60-person event at our office and were very disappointed with the overall experience. While the food itself tasted great, the portions delivered were nowhere near what was paid for. We received enough to feed maybe 20 - 30 people, despite spending $1,000. The containers were barely filled, and this caused a major disruption to our event. We got in touch with Andrea, who was kind and quick to respond. She acknowledged the issue and did try to make it right by sending more food. Unfortunately, the second delivery still fell short. It only included mixed greens and kimchi, and the larger portions and protein we specifically discussed were missing. Andrea did offer a 20% credit and sincerely apologized, which we appreciate. However, given the scale of the oversight and the disruption it caused, this experience was a huge letdown. We expected more professionalism and reliability from a company at this price point.

Review #2 The crispy cauliflower moonbowl was better. Review #1 I tried moonbowls about 2 weeks ago for the first time. To be honest, it wasn't good. The chicken had no flavor, and it was tough. Overall, my bowl just wasn't good. But I decided to try it again today, and man, it was so disappointing. I don't know what I'm supposed to order to get a good bowl, but I keep striking out. I ordered 2 bowls today. One was definitely supposed to have roasted broccoli, and this broccoli wasn't roasted šŸ˜• . These bowls have no seasonings, no flavor, not even the rice. Try this if you're interested. Your experience may be different. But it's a no again for me. I've wasted money twice.

I LOVE moonbowls! I grew up eating traditional korean food in the Korean Cultural District of Harry Hines, such as bulgogi, bibimbap, doenjang-jjigae, and galbi. Unfortunately, I suffer from food intolerances/allergies, so I cannot easily enjoy those foods now. Luckily, moonbowls is a healthy Korean option that thoroughly labels their foods so I can enjoy traditional tasting dishes without worrying about gluten! The spices and seasonings taste authentic and bring back nostalgic memories of my childhood whenever I eat their food. I sincerely appreciate the super fresh ingredients, from crisp vegetables to crunchy fried chicken. My favorite is the bulgogi spiced Impossible Meat with kimchi and gochujang sauce! The portions are generous and securely packed for take away. The food is consistent, delicious, and a great value for the price. I hope they consider expanding their menu even more because I...
