Stepping into La Veganeria Plant Based Mexican Kitchen in Dallas was an adventure in itself, with its unique setup housing a variety of restaurants under one roof and offering pick-up only service. The modern ambiance with a few seating added to the inviting atmosphere.
Navigating the ordering process via tablets and big screens was seamless, setting the stage for a culinary journey. I opted for the “Del Campo” Deshebrada Tacos and the Loaded Papas, eager to explore their plant-based offerings.
While the tacos didn’t quite hit the mark in terms of flavor, the innovative twist on traditional Mexican cuisine was commendable. The Loaded Papas showed promise, although they could benefit from a tad more cooking time to achieve that perfect crispness.
In addition to the culinary experience, it’s worth noting that La Veganeria pays attention to detail, with beautiful packaging that adds to the overall appeal of the meal.
Overall, La Veganeria’s concept is refreshingly innovative, offering a diverse array of plant-based options in a convenient and modern setting. With a bit of fine-tuning in the kitchen, it has the potential to become a go-to destination for those seeking creative and flavorful vegan fare in Dallas.

Read moreThe first time I dined here it was absolutely delicious. I was licking my fingers. I was in the area and ecstatic to find a vegan restaurant that was close. I've been a vegan for over 15 years. My happy place is vegan / vegetarian establishments. 6/11/24 I drove over an hour and brought my family back to try my newly found amazing Mexican vegan restaurant.
I do not know what the world they served me today. $ 17.00 for three very poorly made tacos with scarce ingredients. The pineapple Salas was dry. just horrible. Yes you heard me DRY SALSA! . OK no worries, everyone is allowed a bad day. However ; I also ordered loaded fries. My fries were not cooked. I am not RAW VEGAN YET. Still VERY crunchy !! Like peeled dropped in the grease just to get wet AND SERVED TO ME ... I'm beyond disappointed!! AGAIN, I SAY, I drove 1 hour to get there. ... The lack of inconsistency is disheartening. I was excited about you guys!!! I see now what it's a "Ghost...
Read moreOrder UberEats from here and ended up having a cold meal that wasn’t too appetizing by look unfortunately. This could be the fault of the Uber Driver, or the restaurant but by looking at it; the tacos didn’t seem to have been placed properly next to each other so the food didn’t fly around in the box.
I ordered the Holbox Fish Tacos and felt they were a bit soggy on top of being cold and lacking in flavor in the batter. The rice was also not very flavorful and felt like it wasn’t too fresh.
Overall, I would say this place may be better to eat at rather than ordering delivery since I can’t really tell if the quality of the meal was entirely or partially at fault of the driver or the restaurant so maybe cutting out the middleman will yield you better results. Conceptually very cool but maybe I just experienced them on bad night but hopeful others have better...
