
I was initially very satisfied with my service. I came in for a dip manicure and it was awesome. I'm new to the area and I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere in the salon. The interior is beautiful and as I said the first service I received was very nice..so I came back. The second time I came in I went with the same thing, a dip manicure. It wasn't as nice as the first time but I was still satisfied. Unfortunately within the first couple of days I noticed cracking in the polish. I don't do tips or anything and didn't want my natural nails to break. I commented on the survey text that they send out to let them know. I was told to come in and they would make it right so I did. At that time they did repair the cracked and now chipped nails I believe there we about four. The technician was honestly doing a rush/half ass job. He put the dip on hand filed a bit put on the top coat and told me I was done. I had to ask to have the polish filed down and shaped! WTH? I've been doing dip or gel for the past decade so I am very familiar with the process. He completed the job but I could tell he was over it so I let the topcoat dry and I left. A couple days passed and the polish was still cracking and now my natural nails are breaking!! I was NOT happy. I sent pictures and responed to their survey AGAIN. I now understand that I responses seems to be automatically generated when are asked to contact Casa View Nail Salon. I was AGAIN asked to come into the shop and I showed them the issues. It was suggested that I get a whole new set. At this point it had been about 2 weeks since my initial service so I wasn't completely opposed to the new set even though I am usually able to go about 3 to sometimes 4 weeks never any chipping from the polish or chipping. To sum it up they expected me to pay FULL price for a full set. I asked if the chipped/broken ones could possibly be repaired and I was quoted $5 per nail. I didn't have a problem compensating the employee for their time but FULL PRICE..uhh NO. I don't know if it was the product that was used or application but I will definitely NOT be back. I sit behind a desk at work and i dont make a habit of banging my nails against concrete so the breaking and chipping were in no way in part of anything i had done. I had already recommended this place to a couple of friends and we had even planned on a girls spa day there but after that situation I DEFINITELY would not recommend and I will spend my money elsewhere. GREAT service, attention to detail, friendly, and clean really all of the above and we had a beautiful experience. Bill was a little under 200 no problem there even got a 10%discount for first time client and that was AWESOME so I paid around 180. Paid out on my card and tipped staff $40 in cash. Woke up this morning (7/27/25) and there was a $5 increase updated to my card transaction. Not a lot so I almost let it go but I wanted to know what it was for. Was that somebody tipping themselves or something they forgot to charge. So I came back today ask and the lady prints the receipt and it says $5 staff tip š§ but Iām told that was a fee for the add ons I requested that they missed yesterday.š¤ weird but okay I asked why no one called me to let me know that there would be an update on my card transaction. $5 isnāt much but has they āmissedā something that costed $25 or something then what? I didnāt appreciate that at all and it still seems a little shady because had I paid cash for all of itā¦ā¦againā¦then what? They would have just had to take the loss which is what I feel should have been done here since I wasnāt given a courtesy call and as she kept saying āitās just $5ā the excuse I got is because itās Sunday they didnāt have time to call š okay. Even while she is explaining all this to me about how they had missed something she is rolling her eyes and saying āitās just $5ā. The amount wasnāt the issue I feel it was handled poorly and tacked on a poor attitude towards me when I came in to ask about it was a slap in the face. All that wonderful customer service I was given yesterday was completely gone. Anyway again they do great work but I highly suggest paying cash because they obviously can tack on whatever they want after you leave if they āmissā something. Regarding those last visits.. When I arrived I was told to have a seat and someone will be right with me. I sat there over an hour, was not offered a drink or checked up on. That day on my pedicure I asked for a french pedicure but with color and white tips. I tried to tell lady but she did not speak english so she did what she wanted and what I received was colored tips and gloss on the rest of my toe. I decided to give this place another try after that. When I arrived this time I immediately asked how long is the wait told them what I wanted, which was dip manicure and luxe pedicure. They said no wait and have a seat. Again not offered a drink. Sat there about 30 min. The only complaint i have about the pedicure part is she applied as gel and that was not what I requested. Once she was done with my feet, I had to tell her I also want manicure dip. She then said ok did manicure but then started applying gel and basically giving gel manicure. I tried to interrupt several times she just looked and smiled. The guy at the front was walking around so it took me a while to get his attention. Finally he came over I told him and he said its ok not too late we will fix. This was for Halloween. Now I should have posted pics of my nails, but unfortunately, I decided to follow through with this review after the fact. Moving forward I was told to have a seat at a table, at that point I had to ask for a drink. My nails in the end were horrible, uneven. I was there for almost 3 hours! Just for mani-pedi no elaborate art or jewels just simple color. This place seems to not value your time and does not care to satisfy their customers.
