I have enjoyed this boutique in the past and they have some really great things, but today their return policy ruined it for me. On September 2nd and 3rd I had made an investment on some clothing. Some items I wasn't quite sure on (due to me being at the larger end of their sizing) and some pieces I wanted to wait to try until home. Nothing was mentioned about their return policy on either time, even when I mentioned taking home and trying on and returning if they didn't work out. Today, I went in to return items that didn't fit or were not comfortable on my body only to be told that I could only get a store credit. I tried asking if there was anything else that could be done stating I thought it would go back to my debit card and employee said, "no, it's pretty much the same policy for most other boutiques around too." (which I don't know because I rarely shop for myself). She showed me on the bottom of my receipt where it stated a 15 day return policy for new unworn items but only for exchange or store credit. I wished I had known this prior to the employee piling my fitting room full of items she thought I might like and prior to completing my purchases. It was a lot for me to make those purchases and hurts that I have a big store credit instead of being back...
Read moreWent to store for first time today. They need customer service training. One staff member was very judgemental and rude. Maybe it was what I was wearing ( was gardening today). Had to run errands, didn't change my clothes. while out and about I saw their clearance sale racks. Thought I'd check out the sale and then went inside the store to make purchase. Not one approached me while shopping except when I was checking out at the register. The lady mentioned "There's no returns on clearance" as she was walking by me ( her mannerism and tone is all it took to make me feel uncomfortable being there). I said, "that 's okay". The clerk ringing up merchandise was nice and asked me how my day was and if I wanted to be signed up for their emails . Just told her, " I don't normally shop here". It's too bad that the rude one ruined my experience and any future sales from me. It only takes one bad impression with folks to have them refrain from coming back. On the good side, they had a good selection of clothing. Many made in China as you would find at Fred Meyers and Kohl's. Fabrics predominantly polyester, rayon and some cotton. They cater to S,M,L sizes with a few XL mixed in. The overall vibe of the store is pretentious. The polite clerk saved the...
Read moreI have been shopping at Sage for nearly 5 years. I have spent around 1000 a year for 5 years at this store. Their selection in jeans is the best in the valley and Im a petite size. I have always had amazing customer service and jean advice until recently. I was rushed told to buy a size that wasn't a good fit. I ended up going back and tried to exchange my jeans. I was met with rudeness, was rushed and the sales person had no idea how their products fit a woman's frame. One of those persons was the owner Chelsea. She was more preoccupied with her pod cast than making a sale. When I went to check out I was confronted with a flyer about their no refund policy. I ended up spending almost $300 on ill fitting jeans that I cant return. So I donated them to a local charity. I still recommended Sage to a friend because she w was looking for a specific jean. She ended up walking out because if no customer...
