Edit (9/29/2019) I've complained on their website. I tried getting in touch with someone from corporate. I keep getting told I they would be in touch or something. Some have even bluntly said "too bad". Now when I go there I've noticed the vibe of the whole place is just negative, like everyone is jobscared. I talk to several people and they all say the new GM is very mean and very strict. Everyone is just gloomy. AMC is literally killing the movie theater in Dalton GA.

Checked online earlier in the day and saw a 10:30pm Lion King. Got there around 10:30 and this manager told us that there originally was a 10:30 showing but they just aren't going to show it. I'm not able to just come back another time. I work during the day and at night is the ONLY time I can see any movie. It wasn't just me that was angry and wondering why there wasn't a 10:30pm show. There was several others there all confused as to why they weren't weren't going to show it. I worked for movie theaters before and I KNOW that they could have played it in one of their other auditoriums that had already finished playing the movie and just started it up again. This theater used to be fairly nice, but in recent years, specifically post covid it has simply went in the wrong direction. It used to have large TVs above concessions showing movie trailers, it used to have a stubs membership line, it used to have tickers above the theaters showing the movie and showtime. None of this is the case now.

This theater is in need of an update or a change in management. Bring back the membership priority line, add life back to the lobby, add self-service ticket machines, fix the tickers above the doors. Reinvigorate this theater please.

Aside from those issues it is typically clean.

Oh and stop increasing the refill price for the yearly buckets. When me and my now wife bought our first bucket refills were $2 every year you have raised the price of refills to what is now $5.29 for the 2023 bucket. I get you make your money in concessions, but that bucket of popcorn is costing you less thatn $0.10 to make and your charging $21 for the bucket and an additional $5.29 for every refill?...
