I would strongly Not recommend this doctor!! Dr Dela Rosa's placed implants lasted only 4 years for me !! Which claims could last a lifetime on his professional Archtone Oral and Facial Surgery website . Not only that, he also ignored my complains about pain months prior to implants failing and refuse to see me right away, when I was in so much pain and received an x-ray from general dentist showing severe infection and bone loss. I emergency reached out on his provided cell phone. I complained about my severe pain, Dr Dela Rosa didn't seem caring, he advised me to brush it better, try to hold on my implants (not to remove it) for as long as I could, try not to eat on that side. He commented that it's good that those implants teeth are in the back of my mouth, so it's not too visible. Dr Dela Rosa said that implants were placed "a long time ago", now he could offer better implants with new technology and that it's ok for implants to be updated every few years similar to how we update āapple cell phonesā. Dr Dela Rosa told me that since implants 30-31 were placed more than a few years ago, it was considered as a new case for him and it's not his responsibility for him to see me or treat me right away, I couldn't believe what I hear from him, it was So Unethical! I had to find a new specialist Doctor who would accepts me right away due to infection, since he is fully booked till the next month. I was his established patient for years, his placed implants failed and the fact that he refuse to see me right away or in a matter of days, its consider Negligent! Looking back at my original X-rays when implants 30-31were placed it was Not enough bone tissue at the beginning, but Dr Dela Rosa made a decision to place implants without prior bone and soft tissue graft procedure anyway, implants screws were visibly sticking out, not fully covered by bone or gum tissue when it was placed, which I believe was the biggest factor for my implants to fail in such a short time. I do not have any major health issues, I live a healthy lifestyle, I exercise regularly I don't smoke or use drugs/alcohol. Its been 7 month since my dental implants 30-31 failed and had to be removed by New Doctor, I had to go through multiple graft surgeries to restore bone and soft tissue and finally few days ago had implants placed again, that cost me so much pain, suffering and money. Dr Dela Rosa never cared to reached out and follow...

My Story: If I knew when I was 18 the wisdom teeth removal process can be so painless, I would not have waited til I'm 31 (and suffered all these years). I have very bad dental-phobia cuz the dentist I had growing up was terrible (Perfect Dental in Cupertino). My anxiety is bad - like I'd lose sleep and my heart rate/blood pressure would go up every time I need to see a dentist.
My OTHER Dentists: PERSUADED me to get all 4 wisdom teeths removed at once and not even explain why. Like yeah, no duh I know they're impacted...but what does that mean? What's the impact? What are my options and alternatives? One told me when I was 18 that I'd need a root canal if I didn't get all 4 removed in 4 months (same dentist who tried to give my dad a root canal only to find he already had one when he operated)
The Process Here: Dr Alfredo is very thorough in the consultation. Explained the why's and how's and everything I needed to know AND gave me options for anxiety/pain management. I was sedated but still somewhat conscious. I remember Dr. telling me to open my mouth and he said he's just going to check a few things. I felt like a toothpick was picking a little. Then he left and the next thing I knew, they told me to breathe and my bf came in and I was like hmmm, why would they have him in here now? Then they told me it's already done, I thought it was a joke (like haha funny but when ur gonna pluck my teeth out)? When the Dr told me again it's done I was so confused. Like seriously??? Til I got back home I still was in shock. I felt so stupid for dreading it for over a decade
Summary: Dr Alfredo is an absolute savior! Words cannot describe how unbelievably smooth the process was. I have no swelling and no pain afterwards, but I did take one tablet of ibuprofen as soon as I got home cuz I'm such a coward...theres some minor bleeding that stopped with the gauze in a few hours and I was able to have yogurt/jamba juice
If you're still hesitating btwn a dentist vs Dr Alfredo or thinking about saving $, my brother pretty much had the exact same teeth pulled a few days ago by that dentist in Cupertino. He was in a lot of pain that he cried. His cheek was swollen like a chipmunk and couldn't eat for a day. He's still recovering, meanwhile I'm...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDr.Dela Rosa and his team are simply THE BEST!!! I have extreme dental anxiety which resulted in avoiding my wisdom tooth removal for several years. I called to make my appointment over the phone and Sarah was very friendly and helpful with scheduling and helping me with all of my insurance related questions. She was able to get me in to be seen by Dr.Dela Rosa in just a couple of days. From my very first visit with Dr. Dela Rosa, I was impressed. He took the time to explain my specific situation in detail including both the benefits and risks associated so that I could make the best informed decision. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, patient and kind, which instantly put me at ease and gave me the confidence to move forward with the surgery. On the day of the surgery I was so anxious about getting an IV and being sedated. However, Venus his assistant, was so sweet and funny that she made me feel totally comfortable. She even asked what my favorite artist was so that I could fall asleep and wake up listening to my favorite music. Dr. Dela Rosa was wonderful and explained each step of the process which really eased my anxiety. He administered the IV himself and It was completely painless. The last thing I remember was Dr.Dela Rosa talking to me about the landscapes on the screen while relaxing music played in the background, and the next thing I knew the procedure was done and I was ready to go home. I was amazed at how alert I felt immediately after the procedure. I was able to walk and talk and felt like my normal self when I left. No pain whatsoever. The night of my surgery Dr. Dela Rosa even took the time to call and check up on me himself and said that I could contact him on his cell at any time with any questions or concerns. I am now one week post op, healing beautifully and cleared to eat all of my favorite foods. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Dela Rosa and his team for providing such excellent care and my only regret is not visiting him sooner. Thank you so much Dr.DelaRosa, Venus and Sarah for giving me such a perfect experience! If you are in need of wisdom tooth removal, donāt hesitate for one more minute and go see Dr.Dela Rosa. Trust me, you will be so...
