Have a great time every time I eat here! The owner Angelo has the upmost respect for his customers and offers a traditional-Colombian experience through his culinary skills! The restaurant is in a perfect spot not more than 5 minutes from the bart! Today was sunny and got to look at the vast hills in Daly City from the outside of Mr. Pollo while eating sopa de patacon!
Have not tried food so good since traveling to Medellin! The bandeja paisa is perfect filler for me! Comes with so much food and is perfect for family style or sharing with friends! The arepas and empanadas are super good appetizers, but will fill you up! Bring an appetite 👌🏽🌺 Only place I know around also that has the Colombiana cola and the coconut candy suckers! Also got to try a new fruit named “Lulo” in a smoothie, this taste I had never tried before and had no clue what to compare it to! Always love trying new things like that!

While waiting a soccer match was on, no one was at the "counter" and i almost though of leaving after about 10 minutes until a patron said give it a minute(?), and so it went. May be good for a quick bite(?) but expect something similar. Friendly server, limited menu,but... oh well, let's eat. I guess this proprietor may not be interested in expanding to South San Francisco where I thought to offer him a successful business at 231 Lux....
Read moreThere are so few Colombian restaurants in the Bay area. When I found out my coworker lived in Daly City, I decided to make the trek out because I knew there was Colombian food there. This place has a window for ordering and a couple of tables outside. It's in Daly City so remember your jacket if you're sitting outside, it's cold and gray most of the time. I got a bandeja paisa and jugo de mora (fresh blackberry juice) and my coworker got a vegetarian burrito from the Mexican menu. My family's from Antioquia so i'd say the bandeja is like 9/10 traditional and honestly the arepita is better than what I usually get at Colombian restaurants in America. Definitely recommend, I'm dreaming of...
