Incredible Surfing Experience with Girl in the Curl! We had an amazing time! Booking was super easy, the process was smooth, clear, and quick. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely welcome. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely excited to share their love of surfing. Our instructor was fantastic — patient, encouraging, and great at explaining things in a way that made sense. We felt safe, supported, and most importantly, we had so much fun! By the end of the lesson, we were riding waves and smiling from ear to ear. If you're looking for a fun, confidence-building surfing lesson with top-notch service, Girl in the Curl is the place to go. We can’t wait to come back!

If you’re thinking about a surf lesson with Girl in the Curl, don’t hesitate. Todd and McKenna are both amazing instructors. I was so nervous to try at my age but I was standing up and surfing on my first try! I’ve taken 3 lessons and have had so much fun, gaining more confidence each time. If I can do it, anyone can! My son and his friends also had a group lesson during their visit which was a big highlight of their time in DP. We love Girl in the Curl!

Love Girl in the Curl! Mary is a Dana Point OG and truly the “mother of the waters” here. She always ensures the conditions are safe and helps you feel comfortable before getting in the water. You can tell this has always been her passion—she gets just as excited as you do when you catch a wave! I always have a blast taking lessons from her and feel incredibly safe and confident with such an experienced, rad surfer chick guiding me.
