Starbucks — Restaurant in Dana Point

This Starbucks location is by far the one with the best customer service. Generally, most of the Starbucks locations I've visited have good customer service but this morning's drive-up experience was far superior.

The young lady welcomed us on the drive-up speakers with a cheery, "Good morning!" It was genuine and sweet but not overdone!

While placing my orders, she made short remarks such as, "Oh, that's really good!" And that made me smile. Once I drove up to the window, there she was with her enthusiastic spirit and positive energy at 5:30 am!

While waiting for our drinks and hot breakfast items, she even flashed us a smile by bringing down her mask. It may offend others to be maskless but, for me, I appreciated the gesture in showing a smile even for a brief moment! She even asked what our day plans would be and she gave the right response. Her customer service went above and beyond and I wish I got her name. She was excellent and I would love if other Starbucks employees would model after her. What a great asset to the Starbucks team! :)

No bathroom (Use Del Taco), no tables or seating, no trash cans, can’t go inside. Parking lot walk up window & drive thru only. This is a very speedy store because locals order off smart phone app 5-10 min b4 arrival.

Suggest you do same at it allows very personalised, beach vibe service instead of wasting time trying to explain specific drink preferences in line, fumbling with payments and slowing down this stores awesome brisk pace.

There’s a secret left turn driveway when leaving drive thru allowing access to driveway by DelTaco for easier access to Northbound PCH or better access for making U turn on to NB PCH.

If you want exterior & interior seating next to PCH travel North on PCH 1 mi to other store that has bathrooms...

I’ll give you atmosphere of five because I don’t really have an atmosphere. It’s just like a quick to pick up Starbucks which I actually really like because for this area it’s convenient. And it’s right by the beach which is nice the prices aren’t super bad for being by the beach as well I would say the one most frustrating is getting in and out of here because it’s just constant cars and the lines always backed up which makes it quite frustrating.it’s just the location is a bit difficult to access but otherwise it’s a typical Starbucks. I mean I’m all for supporting your small businesses but sometimes you just gotta go to Starbucks when...
