Staff member routinely opens my Amazon return packages IN FRONT OF EVERYONE to sort and repackage them! Absolutely ridiculous and bad business practice! UPS NOR KHOLS does this. She says management told her to do this.
7/11/24 at 343pm - MAIL OPENED AGAIN!!!! Employee SANJAY opened my Amazon Return that when scanned showed more than one item was being returned. SANJAY did not have permission to do this. Manager Theresa notified. Asked if this was a store policy. Theresa did not answer my question and said the package was opened to verify how many items in the package. This is unacceptable. UPS NOR KHOLS or even USPS do this when mailing in person. It’s embarrassing and unacceptable.
9/8/24: Still opening packages being returned to Amazon without permission. No reason for you to open. It’s not Staples responsibility if we the customer mail back...

I (and several other people wanted to buy school supplies to give away to children who might not receive any. I specifically wanted to buy the Crayola 24 pack of crayons for $0.50. Although there was a limit of only 30 per customer, I could find none available on the various displays. Thankfully a very kind young man who was working as a Staples Associate offered to climb up a HUGE ladder to gather up boxes of crayons from the stock storage area. He never complained (although the store was quite busy) and continued to be helpful throughout my multi part transactions; and assist with my use is the Staples app to ensure I received my Rewards points! Read moreDelivery of the package that I ordered took longer than expected due to the storm. I ordered it to be delivered to the store to avoid any mishaps. However, every time I checked for updates-there were none. 7 days later I called the store and customer service to no avail except suggestion to wait for an update within 24 hours. On the same day I went to this store in person because it showed online having 16 in stock. I talked to the person checking out customers and next the store manager, Sarill. She was so helpful and polite and turned my frustrating experience into a pleasant one. She listened well and responded accordingly. She gave me my missing item out of her store stock as hoped. She knows how to talk to customers as well as to her employees (I noticed). Staples needs more...
