Today I came to pick up a Philly Cheesesteak for my wife and I. I asked for green peppers on half which I didn't know that you cannot do with a large sub. The employee that I ordered with said that he would just go to the back and let them know that's what I wanted for me. That was very much appreciated since my wife isn't a huge fan of peppers. The manager found out and scolded the employee loud enough for everyone in the restaurant to hear. This embarrassed me as well as the employee. I could understand if this was the only comment made, but unfortunately it was not. He made multiple comments from the back of the restaurant loudly enough for me to hear. This is unacceptable behavior from a manager. He should have waited to talk to the employee until I left because it embarrassed me and really does not display good leadership on the manager's part.
I have been to this Lenny's on multiple occasions and have always been satisfied. I hope that Lenny's will choose better managers in the future because people don't want to work for managers that belittle them and make them feel worthless in front...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBesides the order taker and cashier, (same person) the other employees were rude, we're staring us down, and pointing and laughing. So inappropriate and embarrassing for them. The sandwiches were delicious as always. Lost a star for rudeness we endured.
Edit: 8-4-21 6:23pm Excellent customer service! BUT our bread was hard as bricks. It's hard to spend 40 bucks on subs and have stale bread. Although this is one of our favorite sub spots, I'll think twice about going back. š¢ Lose 2 stars for brick bread.
Edit: 7-3-24 6pm. We went in to get our free makeover sandwiches. Teenagers with deer in the headlight eyes is what we saw when we arrived. After some coaching about how the sandwiches are supposed to be made, they finally got it right but just one thing, I feel this was done on purpose, -I asked for extra oil and vinegar, and got a bread soaking, dripping sandwich. Lennys sandwiches are good, but they can never get...

First time I was issued apology, second time was a month later, and then that order also was wrong! These were not special requests, just ordinary menu items. And to boot, both were ordered online, so there should have been no reason for a mix-up! One would expect better service on a high dollar order, but guess not. This place is probably okay if you are one or two, but don't plan on more than that or you will confuse them... Considering prices and quality, you'd better off going to newly opened...
