EverPresent — Local services in Darien

i am thrilled to have 30 years of photos and videos digitized. The good: Ever-present picked up and delivered to my home, the quality seems v. good, there was someone personally assigned to me and she worked to get it finished before a move (see below, this took so long we listed, sold and were moving from our home). The less good: this took months (granted, it was 9000 photographs), there were a couple of mixups along the way which at one point they "blamed" me, the communication was constant in the beginning and then silent - even when they should have called to clarify what became one of the mixups, downloading is not easy - i still haven't done it because the files are too big to download, and it's very expensive. I'm still convinced that this was better than the competition and certainly better than my trying...

I sent one old video tape and one much older 5mm film to see if EverPresent could copy the images. They did a great job! I needed something from them fairly quickly, and the company accommodated by emailing a copy of both items in a rush. The reproduction of the older film was not great since it was old, so I was not surprised. The video tape was perfect, and I had four UBS drives made for my sisters to enjoy.

65 year old 16mm film was transferred quickly (less time than they said it would be) with good quality and clarity. Conveniently placed in different formats (CD, cloud, memory stick). Their CT drop off point made it easy to turn film in w/o going through the mail (they are located in MA). Great job! Thank you for making it easy to distribute this...
