Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Darien

I ordered ahead using the app. It said my order would be ready in 8 minutes at 7:30pm. I waited at least five minutes and was not even acknowledge when I was right at the counter. I finally asked the girl and she looked around for my order and told me it wasn't ready yet. I waited around for at least another fifteen minutes before getting so tired of waiting I asked yet again if my order was ready. Finally a few minutes later I get the single item I ordered. I could've gone through the line several times while I was waiting. What's the point of ordering ahead when you have to go through the line to get your order made? There was no apology for the wait, no sense t urgency or empathy whatsoever. This was my first visit to Connecticut and the first time at a Chipotle in a long time. I very rarely leave a bad review because I understand things sometimes happen we can't control. In this case I felt like I was being a burden on the female employee because I wanted the food I paid for. Had she maybe expressed some understanding of why I was standing there for over twenty five minutes I could've left a little less frustrated. That burrito cost more than the $11 from my pocket, it costed me valuable time I don't appreciate others wasting. Online orders should take priority over the line, otherwise what's the point in offering...

Okay so I wasn't sure I wanted to go because of acid reflux issues I been having so. The waitress was understanding & I was having an issue deciding. I went with the Mango Salad & just requested certain thing not be included. I believe that was Blue Cheese. Yeah I don't like blue. Well...... This salad was a good salad. I think though it needed more of the mango dressing. Oh yeah, next time I will be requesting extra dressing. I would suggest though if you order it to ask for extra dressing because they don't put enough. I don't like alot of dressing really but the amount they put in was just too little. I found myself swishing anything on my fork on any dressing I could find on the plate...lol.

So I have no complaints and I stand corrected in my reservations in going. Oh and yeah no acid reflux...

After driving for over 2 hours from NY my GF and I decided we needed to stop and get some caffeine and something good to eat, the most appetizing to us was chipotle, sadly I found a big peice of black hair in one of my brown beans, I was so disgusted I wanted to throw up, I was going to go say something but my GF paid and I didn't know she paid 40$ for a burrito and a bowl! Inflation is real! I just wanted to get out of there and go home! Blah should have took pictures but if you knew me then you'd know I wasn't going to hold or look at this for any longer..... wear...
