I highly suggest you do not see Kevin. He is very uncomfortable and tries to get to close to you. Very awkward and was not professional. Sat to close to me with his legs spread open towards me, he could have sat across me where the chair was to begin w. I don’t understand how someone needs to be that close to you to fix an iPad. He went thru my phone to try to make some adjustments as well, to hook the iPad to my phone and was doing odd things by clicking on my messages and contacts list then scrolled through it. When I questioned him on what he was doing and gave him an attitude about it, he said oh nothing just looking for settings … he looked startled, he’s right there next to me of course I see you! There was no way around fixing what I needed but he kept going through my phone instead of telling me what just to do to connect it to the iPad, and he insisted he would figure it out. Read morei am writing this here only in hopes that management will fix the company. I had a device recommended at best buy. I installed it but it wasnt workng right. I called and scheduled geek squad to troubleshoot. It was hard to get trough, but i was able to. The guy who came was nice and he took out the first equipment and put in new equipment. A day later the printer would not connect... I tried many times to reach geek squad but only could talk to india. They made me spend an hour and a half on phone with them before admitting that i needed someone onside. They said they could not schedule an appt. so, i had to drive to the store. I had tthe card of the first guy who came and left messages but he didnt answer. Tehe store gave me his boss' number, same thing.
Geek squad is communicating very poorly. you always get routed to helpless guys in india. You cant get a person even when you have their direct cell numbers. even if you drive to the store, you have trouble getting anyone to help you. Read moreThe worst experience I’ve ever had. We paid for a whole year membership to get our PC diagnosed and repaired. The customer service rep told us we would get a complementary dusting/cleaning. The next day a staff member called us to pick up the PC and said it was simply just not updated when we opened the glass to look inside the same cake on dust was there when we asked for it to be cleaned the staff had stated they couldn’t take it apart to clean it. I could literally wipe the dust clump off with my index finger. When I said “I just took a clump off without taking it apart, why didn’t it get blown out?” He looked me dead in my face and said it was cleaned. When I asked for management I was told to wait and stood there for 15 minutes before finally just buying dust off to clean it myself.
