EVERY TIME I want an update on my phone, I have to call. Today, I got fed up and called another location to ask for information on what I was told about my phone.
I dropped the phone off Aug 15th to this Davie location. They didn't start working on it Aug 28th I finally got my phone back Sept 9th I had to take it back to them less than a week later on Sept 13th. because they damaged my sim card slot. I called to follow up multiple times and I was finally told they phone was fixed but couldn't replace it because had to do some reset and it had to be tested by a Samsung computer and theirs broke and a new one was supposed to arrive early this week.
I've been fed a bunch of excuses by both Brian and Michael since then and it has now been another month.
Today, Michael told me he would email me with an update. That email never came.
I was told by another location that NO WORK HAS BEEN DONE ON MY PHONE SINCE SEPTEMBER 8th
I'm calling the corporate office. I this is extremely unacceptable.
Update- I've pretty much had it. The communication here sucks. After having to call multiple times over the past week and being advised of ongoing delays with shipping (which I was understanding about), I informed the last person that the communication could be better. I had to call again today after being told my phone would be ready this past Tuesday. I was told it was ready, I said, great I'll be there when I get done. Would've been REALLY NICE TO KNOW that your hours have changed. Won't be back to this location. I live in Hollywood, I'll be happier driving to the Sunrise location.

Read moreI had issues with my galaxy fold on Saturday. I had dropped it on the floor and because it had no visible damage I thought nothing of it but a few hours later I noticed my phone only had service when it was connected to the wifi as soon as the wifi was turned off I had no service. I googled what could be the the issue and they recommended taking the Sim card out and cleaning it so when I opened the slot I didn't see a Sim card. So I was thinking when I dropped it the Sim card popped out in the phone and was stuck somewhere in the phone. When I brought it in I explained what I thought happened to Benjamin and he said some phones dont have Sim cards but he could open it for $43.00 and check. To make a long story interesting they could not find it and suggested maybe the antenna was bad but I needed to talk to Verizon about getting a Sim card. I took my phone home and spoke with Verizon and they walked me through the settings showing me that I in fact had a electronic Sim card and needed to delete it and they sent me a different electronic sim card and now it works but what gets me is THAT THIS PLACE IS SUPPOSED TO BE A TECH PLACE AND IM SURE THEY KNEW HOW TO CHECK THE SETTINGS TO SEE IF THE PHONE ACTUALLY HAD A PHYSICAL SIM CARD OR A ELECTRONIC SIM BECAUSE IT WAS RIGHT THERE IN SETTINGS BUT THEY CHOOSE TO TAKE MY MONEY ANYWAY TO SAY THEY OPENED IT UP AND COULDN'T FIND THE SIM CARD.
WHETHER IT WAS INTENTIONAL OR NOT IT LEFT A BAD TASTE IN MOUTH THAT THEY KNEW THERE WAS A WAY TO CHECK IF THE PHONE HAD A PHYSICAL SIM OR NOT AND CHOOSE NOT TO BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO CHARGE THE DIAGNOSED FEE OR THEY DIDNT KNOW HOW TO TELL IF IT HAD A PHYSICAL SIM OR ELECTRONIC SIM AS A TECH REPAIR COMPANY I FEEL THEY SHOULD KNOW. EITHER WAY IT LEFT ME FEELING I GOT SCREWED OVER FOR $43 AND MORE IMPORTANTLY MY TIME WASTED WAITING ON THEM TO TELL ME THEY COULDN'T FIND THE SIM. Read moreAlthough the staff is courteous, their lack of communication with the consumer during the repair process is why they are getting one star. I dropped my ps5 off on 12/24/24. Was told I would receive a call once they diagnosed the issue. Cool, I didn't expect a call that day and I knew they would be closed Christmas so I expected a call at least by the next day. But I didn't, which I didn't make a big deal about. By Friday, the 27th, still no call. So I called and was told they ordered the part and it wouldn't be in until the 30th, and it would be fixed by that day. So they never called to say what the issue was, how much it would be to repair, parts needed to be ordered and would you like to proceed with the repairs. They basically made the decision for me without my knowledge. Was told the repair costs would be $179. Go to pick up my device on the 30th and was told the costs were over $300! I almost flipped becuz that was not what I was told when I called to check the status. Upon further review, the manager corrected the price stating I did drop off during their holiday special so they honored the $179 price. My device works perfectly and they do offer a 1 yr warranty but I just didn't like that they don't call you to give updates nor did they update the system with tracking info even though they give you a tracking number on...
