Escape Davis provided an unforgettable experience for me and my two kids! As soon as we stepped into the venue, we were greeted with enthusiasm by the friendly owner, setting the tone for what turned out to be an incredible adventure in Gunrocks Den.

The game play and puzzles were top-notch, engaging us from start to finish. My son, who's a puzzle enthusiast, was in his element, eagerly tackling each challenge with excitement. The puzzles were cleverly designed, offering just the right balance of difficulty and satisfaction upon completion.

Moreover, the owner's passion for escape rooms was evident in every aspect of our visit. They were not only accommodating but also genuinely invested in ensuring we had a memorable experience. Their enthusiasm was contagious and added an extra layer of enjoyment to our adventure.

I tend not to write negative reviews like this but after having the experience and looking at the other reviews I realized our group should have traveled further to Sacramento for an escape room. One friend said it felt like we were on a prank show, recording our content for laughs.

Finding the spot felt a little questionable for location and space; walking in we were greeted with a small podium with a crooked sign and the rooms followed suit.

The person working was quite sweet and I don't want it to negatively impact her at all, but the room felt like a project for school.

Parts of the room were not functional/working which held our group up for quite some time, wallpaper was peeling, poor quality objects were used, multiple clues were used for multiple locks/parts (typically it's one use and done), no voice communication for hints or check ins, and lack of atmosphere and story. Not like other escape rooms attended.

If you've done other escape rooms, this is not the same. The price did not match...

I’ve done 4 escape rooms in my life and this was by far the worst. It was ridiculously low quality. Parts of the room were broken, the decorating looked like it was done by a reluctant 11 year old boy with a $40 budget, and the whole area was cheap looking.
