NO stars! 90% of the staff is rude and don't want to be there, and they seem to really get ticked off when you try to bring something back or want to see something in the glass cases, there is NO fitting room ( that's why people bring stuff back), and God forbid you like something without a price tag on it, they treat you like you took the price tag off yourself and they will NOT give it to you for any price or attempt go price it themselves and they tell you it will be priced and be back on the floor in a few days but more than anything else the items are insanely expensive and it is very hard to find the sales colored tags, i think they pull them. This USED worn plain black casual dress from the GAP is yellow tag $44.99!! and the sale colors are orange and white tags so no discount!. i don't want to pay almost $50.00 for a used dress! I will not shop there again and i will definitely not donate ANYTHING to them so they can put a ridiculous price tag on it! I also saw New Walmart slippers with the Walmart tag still on for $6.98 City thrift price $6.99!! This use to be a very nice affordable place to shop until they moved to the other side of the plaza, they got very expensive after the move! Here's a tip, if you are nice to your customers and give then a RESONABLE price for your items you will have more sales.

so this store is all about whos the manager at the time! right now; just dont even go!! A LOT of the items have no price...they claim people take them off.... (im sure!!! . its not you guys not doin your job!).! and they refuse to send items to the back and have it priced so they can actually sell somthing....(you have to 'come back', whenever its back on the floor) this also depends on the manager at the time... most everything else is way overpriced to the point of laughable.... heres a couple if examples; suede boots made in Italy but not a designer brand; $90, old durango cowboy boots $70 , some belt buckle in their messy counter; $199.. bags looks like they start at $14.99 and up(cheap fake leather ones) if you find a 'the sak' or 'fossil' prepare to pay $20 or $30 regardless of condition.. and yes like other people commented... in the 'wares' section half of their items are more than retail (dollar tree/ross) a lot of original prices still on.. and a lot of broken things that belong in the dumpster out back!!! also the new re-arrangement with the shoe and (fake designer)bag wall behind the counters is a joke...; get rid of it... put your counters back how they used to be six months ago.. Please City Thrift..; get new management! us regular customers know you can be a great store!! 8/19/2024

This store seriously needs to remove the TRIFT part from its name. Their prices are becoming absolutely ridiculous!! $9.99 for a used tank top that isn't even a brand name??? $19.99 for a rusted and faded metal wall art that still has a new price of $14.99 from Tuesday Morning??? A mirror in a wooded frame that is so scratched and needs paint or varnish for $39.99.... seriously??? My gosh... you get this stuff donated FOR FREE The same stuff is still sitting on the shelf and racks week after week.... this has to be hurting your bottom line. Whenever I am at this store other people are always commenting on the ridiculous prices. Try lowering your prices so items will move quicker for new stock making customers happy and actually make more money in the long run. Or keep going the way you are by raising prices to the point of less sales and lose customers.... your choice. UPDATE!! It just keeps getting worse here, this absolutely blew my mind... Pictures of a badly beat up fish stand cabinet priced as a night stand for $16.99

Think twice before supporting this store — management doesn’t protect employees from abusive customers and punishes staff for enforcing their own policies. If management won’t even protect their own employees from abusive customers, imagine how little they care about the people who shop here. As a former employee, I was left to deal with aggressive customers on my own while simply enforcing store policy. When a customer screamed at me for asking him to follow the rules, management stood by without intervening and then reprimanded me instead of supporting me. The lack of protection and respect for employees made it clear my well-being didn’t matter, so I quit. I truly hope this store chooses to treat both customers and employees with more respect in the future. To the man who screamed at me that day — I was only asking you to follow the same policy every customer is expected to follow. I spoke to you politely, but your aggression and yelling turned a simple request into an ugly scene. I wasn’t against you; I was doing my job. Your behavior not only disrespected me but also contributed to the toxic environment that made me walk away from that job. I hope you reflect on how you treat people who are simply trying to do their work. This incident did not reflect on another customer situation with a non service dog without lease running around. This review only reflects on the screaming man with a backpack on. If you’re going to investigate then follow through with the correct information. I never mentioned anything about a dog or service animals, but I was a witness to...

Yesterday I bought a sofa for my patio in this store, and today, January 6th, I went to pick it up with my husband. Turns out there was a really nice sofa there, but it was without the price tag. I went to a lady who was there, I think the manager, I don't know, and asked. She said that the price hadn't been set yet and that tomorrow morning the price would be there and the sofa would go to whoever arrived earlier. I went earlier today to pick up the sofa I bought for my patio with my husband. And I asked the guy who put our piece on the bed once more how much that beige sofa was. He replied that he didn't know but that he could go and ask management. We waited for him to return and he returned once again with this lady with black hair, who replied that the price had not yet been determined, and that there were also other people there waiting to know the value of the sofa. She replied that she did not know the price and that it was not her priority. Now if this woman works in this store and if I and other customers are not a priority then what are we? If customer service is not a priority, I would like to know along with my husband who was outraged by her response. After all, what is the business priority that depends on customers????????? I think this lady is in the wrong place, and if she is the owner of the store, I suggest that she sell urgently and go...

So my experience with city thrift was decent at first, about the third time I went in with my young son, a woman that has never really seemed to like me came up to me bc I had a bag of returns, she proceeded to tell me that she “didn’t feel comfortable with me having the bags and could I give them to the front desk, so I did so, but then she started following us around the store, I forgot her name but she’s older, I was even being nice one of the first times I went in and told her she was beautiful. She usually wears her hair in a braid (most of her hair is gray) and most of the time she looks like she doesn’t want to be there. Between the ridiculous pricing here and her bc I’m pretty sure she’s a manager or something like that, I don’t really frequent here anymore. Especially bc after she asked me to put my bag of returns at the desk, the lady at the desk let me know I couldn’t even exchange the stuff that day bc it was “half off day”…..this woman should not be in a management position. Also city thrift is extremely expensive for things that you’ll notice aren’t even name brand, I could occasionally find things that were reasonably priced but for the most part, you can expect to be spending just as much as you would if the items were not used. I hate that thrifting is a trending thing at the moment bc I am positive that’s why they’re prices...
