-Fahem Steakhouse Review-
Fahem Steakhouse is a restaurant I would choose for a date night or a special evening with friends. Though I live on the coast and cannot visit often, I truly wish I could return more frequently to enjoy this gem.
•Ambiance- The atmosphere is absolutely amazing. It is warm, inviting, and designed for an elevated dining experience. The colors, artwork, and lighting create a balanced and elegant setting that feels well worth the price.
•Seating- This may sound unusual in a review, but the chairs deserve a mention. They are incredibly soft, comfortable, and thoughtfully chosen, which speaks volumes about the restaurant’s attention to detail.
•Starter- We began with hummus and bread. The hummus was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with olive oil. The warm bread paired beautifully with it, simple yet delightful.
•Drinks- The pomegranate mojito was crisp, bubbly, and refreshing. Its presentation was lovely, and it complemented the meal wonderfully.
•Meal 1: 14oz Ribeye with Garlic Mashed Potatoes- The ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium with a rich crust and deep grill flavor. The marbling melted beautifully into the steak, making it tender and flavorful. One edge was a full cut of fat, which is not my personal preference, but those who enjoy a rich and fatty bite would love it. The garlic mashed potatoes were whipped smooth, buttery, and lightly seasoned, just the right balance alongside the steak.
•Meal 2: Herb Crusted Chicken with Mushroom Gravy, Garlic Potatoes and Asparagus- This dish truly stole my heart. Juicy and flavorful, the chicken was elevated by its herb crust and the perfectly balanced mushroom gravy. It felt hearty and comforting, reminiscent of a southern home cooked meal. The garlic potatoes made the dish even more satisfying, and the asparagus was tender and well seasoned.
•Overall Impression- This is the best Halal steakhouse I have ever been to. What impressed me most is that their chicken is just as outstanding as their steaks. Juicy, flavorful, and skillfully prepared, it shows the talent and versatility of the kitchen.
I wholeheartedly recommend Fahem Steakhouse for anyone seeking a warm and inviting space to enjoy crisp fruit drinks and exceptional food. Michigan is truly fortunate to have this restaurant. My reviews are always based on my personal experience, careful observation, and passion for good food. I do not hesitate to give a lower rating when it is warranted, with full explanation so that a business can improve. Fahem Steakhouse earned every one of my five stars for the experience they provided, the atmosphere they created, and especially the food they presented with such care.
To the owners, staff, and chefs, I wish you lasting success and prosperity. You have created a true jewel. Inshallah, I look forward to returning when I travel back to...
Read moreHospitality was good & the servers were very nice. The floor was messed up under my table due to them mopping & when I pointed it out the servers immediately cleaned it up. Plus the servers were checking on me time to time to see if I need anything & I very much appreciated that. Very small parking space & the restaurant itself is small & there is not a lot of gap between each table. Now let's talk about the food, I was hyped up to visit this restaurant after watching IG reels posted by the restaurant itself & also Halal Food Junkie. But, the food presentation I saw in the IG reels plus the taste of the foods Halal Food Junkie & other MI based food reviewers talked about didn't meet my expectations at all. I ordered the Ribeye entree & it was insanely hard to cut & insanely hard to chew! I ordered medium rare, but still it shouldn't be this much hard to chew or cut. I almost broke the table I was putting so much pressure towards the cutting. The rice I felt like was a leftover plus it didn't seem all the way boiled plus it smelled. On the IG reels the chef cut the steak in slices & then presented it to the people. But in my case that didn't happen, I guess this was my mistake & I should've asked for it. In the IG reels the portion of the grilled vegetables were massive & looked properly grilled. But in my case, they only served me 1 piece of a small asparagus, 1 piece of small onion & 1 piece of small half tomato & not a single one was properly grilled rather just a tiny bit burnt & that's it. The strawberry mint Mojito was good & that is the only positive part about my order. I couldn't eat all of my ordered food, so I did the rest take out. I asked for a small cup of sauce for the steak & that small cup of sauce for the take out wasn't even half full. This is not what I was expecting from this restaurant which is promoting themselves as a five star dine in experience. Five star restaurants also don’t give out thank you bags bought from the grocery shop for customers take out order. There is no value for the high price they are charging & it seems like all the great reviews plus the high quality IG reel advertisement from social media food reviewers & influencers are just paid stunts from them. Man I got so fooled by these IG reels & I better watch out before I get hyped again next time. Overall 3 out of 10 for...
Read moreEdit: you replied back that you voided my check and you did not. Go back to that day and we paid for everything except the salad that’s all you voided which obviously because It was unsafe to consume. you also said you offered alternative and I was specific in the review and said you offered to remove the chicken and cook it more. This is very unprofessional, and to lie and cover it up is even worse.
I have been to almost every restaurant in Dearborn and I have never experienced something this unsafe and unprofessional and I hate leaving bad reviews but this can lead to severe illness. I am 9 months pregnant and I was literally served raw chicken that was cooked 20% and once I told them it was raw they said they can remove it off my salad and cook the chicken a little more, which is very unsanitary after the bacteria has already spread all over the vegetables... once I showed them the chicken they did not even apologize or admit to the fact that this is a serious health concern and that it can cause someone to be severely ill. They wanted to brush off the situation. The chef did not even try come out and apologize, he sent out an older women who did not speak English and she started saying that when people order steak and chicken they ask for medium or well done and I didn’t specify well done so they made it medium. This is the most ridiculous explanation I have ever heard and I recommend you to go somewhere else or make sure your chicken is well done to prevent salmonella or food borne illness…but I definitely don’t recommend this place. I attached some photos of the chicken that was served and in person it shows much more. They keep trying to delete my review instead of trying to apologize. No wonder why the restaurant was empty...
