What a breath of fresh air and a blessing thank you Dr fezzoli give me if I'm spelling your name wrong and Dara and whoever else is making this facility possible it's not a county or city run facility which makes it that much better. What a pleasant experience anybody who is an animal lover knows how difficult it is to work with these county and City run facilities or some of these other animal organizations you have to go through to get low-cost spay and neutering they're not the most pleasant people. This place is fantastic the people are Dynamite this is a blessing please everybody go I think they're closed on Mondays but I can't tell you enough about this place and let's spread the word far and wide they're in DeBary but you don't have to live in DeBary to use them please let's keep them going let's keep them strong so that they're able to get bigger and better and more facilities this county and this whole area needs this wonderful wonderful experience wonderful place. Low-cost spay and neutering for both strays and personal pets they work with the TNR people. It is a non-profit organization please let's help to keep them long and strong thank you God Jesus and the Holy Spirit for this and the people that make these things happen. I can go on and on and on forever I have no words to say how grateful I am and thankful for this facility how many lives it's going to save and how many unwanted animals it's going to prevent they have low cost vaccines too. And if you going to spay and neuter whether it's a stray or your own personal pet one low cost space and neuters your animal ear clipping for cats if you want it microchip vaccines for one incredibly low price I believe they deflee and deworm there but I didn't inquire about that cuz I know how to do that all myself so I had already done that with the cat that I had brought in and I have been saving animals all my life I have never seen an animal come home so stress-free recover so quickly from anesthesia and what a beautiful problem free incision it was a female and she was spayed. Spread the word for and wide...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. On May 3rd, I brought my 10 lb chiweenie to get spayed,( I brought my larger dog here a few years ago and had no issues) but everything seemed perfectly fine after my chiweenie came home. Her wound looked good, no redness, no swelling no change in behavior, my dog was great until day 5 post op. The night before, she only ate half her food and didn't seem herself. We wake up to her, with her legs straight out, eyes wide and ears stuck up like a frozen statue with seizure symptoms. Could not stand up at all. She didn't eat drink or use the bathroom. We took her to her regular vet and they said her symptoms were consistent with tetanus. A very rare complication, usually after surgery. I asked why her wound didn't look infected and she said there are 6 incisions that are made during that surgery and the infection more than likely occurred in the interior incisions. They referred her to an emergency vet to administer an anti toxin, to which at the time the vet evaluated her he explained her odds of surviving were less than 50% with medication and days of continuous treatment. My dog went straight home from getting spayed and her bedding and her wound were cleaned consistently and I pride myself on a clean home. My dog passed on the 5th night post op. This is the only place she had been and was evaluated by her vet a week prior with absolutely no issues. You even sign a waiver stating you release them of any possible liability afterwards, I get it, but tetanus is a bacterial infection from unsanitized equipment and this could have been prevented. My baby was only...
Read moreA week ago my dog was taken here to get spayed; she was an active, healthy, and happy dog. We made sure to keep her warm, calm, and clean after the surgery. We took every precaution and did everything we needed to make sure she healed properly. That was our baby of course we would take extra precautions like anyone else would with there pet. Out of no where on the 6th day she started throwing up orange phlegm ( her wound was clean and did not look infected) we took her to the er since this office was closed and they gave us some antibiotics and pain meds. The next day we decided to take her to this office in hopes they would help us since they are the ones that did the surgery, the doctor should know what went wrong. Instead they told us it was NORMAL, she had no fever apparently but did not tell us what her temperature was. We had to take her again the following day to another Er because we did not see any improvement, if anything she was getting worse because she would not stand up. That’s when they told us it seems she had gotten tetanus FROM DIRTY UNSANITIZED EQUIPMENT, with out thinking they jumped to help her but it was too late. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE TAKING YOUR DOG HERE . We are all heartbroken, we lost a piece of our family due to malpractice. My dad left a review this morning and that’s when they called us to see what happened and if they could help AFTER they sent us home saying...
