Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Decatur

My daughter got a kids meal and I just got a strawberry sundae, extra strawberry. First, they really hooked me up with extra strawberry I mean I've been places before and ordered extra strawberry on my Sunday or ice cream whatever and they jip me but dairy Queen this time around I paid for extra strawberry and they hooked me up with some extra strawberry so first of all and foremost that's awesome and I appreciate that very much. They were a little talkative at the front and my ice cream did sit there for a couple of minutes in the window and I'm standing there staring straight at it and they see me standing there but that's no big deal they were you know it was just after dinner you know I mean they were probably busy and kind of winding down from the dinner rush. The only other issue I really had was I got my daughter a cherry slush The cherry mist slush, and it was already half melted when they gave it to us so not really sure what's up with that, I mean I could have gotten a cherry slushie that was you know two times the size of the one that I got at dairy Queen for half the price and it would have been frozen and it would have stayed frozen too, but aside from that great everything...

3 weeks ago I was given the wrong order in drive thru. When I phoned restaurant, the gal told me to “Just come in and let them know at counter what is needed for the replacement order”. Sunday evening was told i wasn’t in the “book” and they could not help me. So I ask how they can just NOT replace twenty dollars worth of food. So I then get told to call and try speaking with manager next day “Dave”. I call today and speak with “Dave”: That experience alone is a whole other Google review, if I wasn’t a Christian. I was told i could be lying so no I do not get my order; I sound not all the way there, I am rude, I could not get his bosses number because he is not allowed to give it out, and all complaints stop with him. This has got to be an episode on the Twilight Zone or our working class folks have just simply lost their minds. I have just been ripped off for $25 by Dairy Queen on Snyder St Decatur. BBB next stop. I work hard for my money. I am an Uber driver so I will be sure to check every order out of there so the next poor sap doesn’t...

To start off my frozen blizzard clearly isn’t “frozen” (the whole reason for visiting) fell down trying to place in cup holder and wasted everywhere. I’m already upset it fell but now so have a mess to clean up when it shouldn’t have wasted because it was supposed to be frozen and delivered upside down right??? None of which happened. Then to make things worse my food is COLD. 45 min wait for COLD food and what appears to be a kids meal. Sooooo disappointing. I have to put my drink in the freezer and heat my food up. At this point I should have gotten a microwave dinner. This just topped off the night after the long wait anticipation of frozen and hot goodness. I would hope this will be rectified. And i have no idea what’s going on with this ranch. It’s more solid than my blizzard. Time delayed with this review as I was writing it on the wrong establishment. I literally sat in the vehicle to write this review on this experience....
