Plaza at San Jacinto — Local services in La Porte

First of all I would say I was so happy living here with my children for a whole year until they change to the new manager of now called Stacey . We picked this place because it was family friendly they gave me the only apartment available at that time on the 3 floor. Never had a complain or the manager harassing us in the place we call home until Stacey came in office . They don’t like children here they were trying to fine me for literally walking and living on the apartment. When so many other families have children and make lotsss of noise as well mind u they even have a dog park here dogs are loud too . If they don’t want families coming here to rent they should let people know before hand or change manager she’s hurting the $ of the owner & the people that live there with how rude she is to the residents. And the review u see about roaches here is true we had to do our own pest control cuz theirs don’t work . she’s started targeting us because of our children next supposedly she had people complain for noise but not one soul came up to tell me to keep it down it was all her with her emails it got very frustrating . my husband had to tell her to please stop and explain how we have toddlers and also a autistic child they didn’t care not the manager or the helper everytime I would explain she would legally treated me with if we don’t stop they will fine me or kick me out . and she found a way to kick us out. we are allow to renew our contracts by law if we haven’t done anything wrong in Texas but she is blocking us from doing so with a letter to vacate when our contract is over is disgusting how this lady targeted & targets families she didn’t like and legally kicks them out . Mind u we payed our 2000$ apartment rent every month without problems . Update-do not trust the front office for anything. The charged for move out damages that WERE noted on our move out sheet. They lost it so we need to pay. Beware the apartments are heavily infested with roaches so you have to call and beg them to spray. Ms Keavy Davis is clearly not his family’s breadwinner but he’s not great at this venture either. Glad we’re out.

I’ve lived here two years and it’s always something. I had a washer leaking in my unit and they didn’t come for almost a week. I had to in the office and yell at the lady and THEN the guy came. However, 6 weeks later and I keep calling about once a week because the washer is BROKEN! They are waiting on a part AGAIN and I’m headed to the laundromat AGAIN because they don’t have laundry on site. So they’ll brag about countertops and washer/dryer in unit but just remember it doesn’t always work and then you have to drive somewhere to do laundry. The Plaza at San Jacinto is a peaceful, clean place to live. My neighbors do their very best to clean up after their pets and keep them quiet. The management team Keavy, Christine, and Richard answer the phone when we call and respond to our concerns in a timely manner. My water heater started leaking at 5:45pm (5/24/2023), I called the office and Keavy & Christine got right-on it. They contacted Richard, who was on his way home and asked him to come back and check on my water issue. He returned, shut off the water, and the leaking stopped. I had already saved some water, so we were okay for the night. The next morning he went to Home Depot, picked up a new water heater for my unit, and had it installed by lunch time. I have always received professional, courteous, and friendly service from management. My family and I have live here for over 5 years and we are well taken care of. We love living at the Plaza!!
