Taco Bell — Restaurant in Delavan

I'm sorry as well guys, I don't normally complain but you intentionally screwed me on a huge dollar order.

This just happened last night.

1:21AM - I arrive with 1 car pulling up to the order booth, and 3 more in front of them.

A drunk wedding party waiting for me back at the bar that closes at 2AM, but I am confident I will return to my comrades a hero and dubbed a champion amongst men.

1:26AM - They finally take their order. (In the moment I'm thinking well maybe called off and they're just slammed tonight?)

1:36AM - The line finally moves up. (Ok yeesh, is there another Taco bell anywhere close? nope it doesn't matter I would have to pop the curb and drive into a prairie to get out of here... I guess I'm dedicated. I should just chill out and stop worrying, I'll make it back in time they'll pickup the pace once they're in the groove to serving again)

1:38AM - They take my order (I'm thinking ok cool, that was a faster response then the people in front of me, they're good now, this is going to be fine.. aaand I'm about to hit them hard with a drunk wedding party sized order.

3 x Taco Supremes 2 x Steak taco supremes 12 x soft tacos 12 x crunch tacos 1 x Chalupa Supreme "for me"

And they sound flustered. Sort of messed up the order a few times but ultimately fix it to exactly what I asked for.)

2:01AM - I finally make it to the window, this kid profusely apologizes for the wait. I'm annoyed and pissed, I missed any possible after party I could have enjoyed with friends and family. Not to mention I'm dropping $42 in Taco Bell and it will most likely go to waste because they won't be there for me to return to.

I'm just like well, "It happens, you're cool, lets just get this done right". They seem relieved that I'm not a jerk.

2:16AM - After the guy behind me gets out of his truck, walks up to the window and yells into profanity into the drive thru window, do they return with my order. I tell them the guy behind me was the one that yelled into the window but he's back in his truck now. I then just test for crunchy/soft in my order, they apologize profusely but , I'm grossly late for my warrior welcomed return so I drive off annoyed, disappointed and just looking forward to a good snack before head to bed.

2:31AM - I return and not only am I late, it everyone was there and I am welcomed as a hero by half of the crowd, but hey it's about making life better. Enough philosophy..

We dig in.

Upon my dismay, they didn't just mess up the order, they ran out of beef and decided that would just mosh together somewhat editable versions of chicken tacos.

And crunchy tacos with so little meat, and packed with so much cheese it was disgusting.

I'm unsure why the chalupa casing seemed stale crunchy like it was deep fried days ago. Or why nothing had tomatoes, or lettuce or sour cream.

Nothing was editable to a group of drunk people in need of anything to soak up the alcohol in their stomachs.

Think about that for a second...

1PM'ish the time didn't matter. I wasn't in a hurry other than to just get back home after a nice wedding party weekend.

I ask for the manager, I don't remember her name. She was nice, polite, has gauge ear rings, looking over-worked and disheveled.

I explain to her politely what occurred above and she seemed shocked in a way that this doesn't in fact shock her anymore.

She offered to get us free food, which we declined. I will never eat from that location again, and I'm really glad I'm not a local.

She refunded the check. Thank you, I really do appreciate that which is why I hope this review doesn't get you in trouble.

Your night crew last night need has lack of decency.

I would have accepted the news that they were out of meat or just under such technical difficulty, I would have just hunted down another store.

But they didn't give me that option.

They took whatever somewhat editable "thing" in their vicinity and wrapped it in a tortilla.

So, I would tell a friend to definitely...

This place has gone down hill so much over the last two years! The service now is awful even some of the managers are very rude. The later you go the worse it gets. If you go at later night it's almost a guarantee that the place will be nasty and you get to listen to hard-core rap music that's so loud you can barely hear what they're saying. Also tonight for the third my tacos are wrong, last week the tacos were missing from the order so I went in and the manager basically accused me of trying to steal food because she said that much food couldn't be missing and made wrong especially since she helped make the order so I went and got my bag and reciept. Then she blamed all the employees when she realized I was right. So I thought my order was correct because she remade everything for me and went over it and I get home and my 4 tacos no lettuce had lettuce, so I called and she said come back some time and get them, so tonight I go back to get them order them and she even remembers me and I order a few other things so I get home and my 4 regular tacos no lettuce that I order are not there instead I have 4 supreme tacos no lettuce, of course my kids won't eat them because they have tomato and sour cream on them! So ridiculous taco bell! This place needs to get some better employees and better managers!! So many times the kids working there are just goofing around and not even working. 9 times out of 10 our order will be messed up. We've gone late nights and they're closed sometimes 45 minutes early and this has happened a few times. I honestly don't know why we even bother eating...

Had to wait at least 10 minutes to get 4 cheesy bean and rice burritos. Everyone there had to wait a very long time. The slushes had to "dethaw" I guess so these kids had to wait probably a good half hour to get four slushes. Another lady while we were there was upset that the diet Pepsi was out in the lobby and asked them to get her one from the back. I'm not sure if they ever did. Later she was raging at the counter because she asked for no beans and no rice on whatever she got and there was beans all over it. She demanded all her money back because she waited so long for it, it wasn't right , and the whole diet Pepsi thing. The manager was pretty cool with it all though and gave the lady her money back. My boyfriend got bacon in his Burrito when there wasn't supposed to be and went up to get a new one. They replaced it easily but there was another long wait for it. That is not the first time I have waited an excessive amount of time at this taco bell , in fact it is the third. One of those times they lost our order. Nor is it the first time I have experienced bacon in a cheesy bean and rice burrito. As a vegetarian I'm not cool with that. One time I told them about it and they simply said that there wasn't bacon on it and I'm like yes there is but they wouldn't do anything about it. By far my least...
