This was my first (updated 2nd!) experience of BMW of Delray Beach, Florida and it has completely reset my standards and expectations of car searching, buying and selling. I had to move away from Kia (trade mine in) because their service departments completely sucked and I was losing precious time from work.

Initially, I was greeted at BMW by a member of the team that heard my questions and quickly realized and admitted that I would do better with a more seasoned team member. She immediately handed me to Murad Stokes, an absolutely professional and exquisite sales manager. It was clear that I had arrived at the right place. Over that week, I had been to multiple dealerships, including Infiniti, Porsche, Lexus, Acura, Lincoln, and many others, gathering information and road testing dozens of contenders.

At BMW, it was totally different. Murad calmly walked me through every step of a fairly intimidating process that could be, at times, frustrating and untrustworthy. He was the best kind of professional. He listened well, answered all my questions with a great deal of consideration and patience, was totally real and confident, and if he didn’t know something immediately, he would do his best with the data and would only default to his team when it was absolutely needed. No lag. No bs.

It was always a slam dunk, from the smallest detail to the more ‘interesting’ moments of my transactional requests. I did have a very specific list of non-negotiable features in an X5 (adaptive, cruise control, heads up display and a few others ) and he did everything to locate and zero in on the best choice. This was not an easy list to get for a variety of reasons, including the fact that the pandemic made the chip set that was needed to get the features I wanted almost impossible with the interior and exterior color choice and type of X5 that I wanted.

I had been doing my own ultra extensive research on Carfax and knew it was a trick to pull over. After hours of Murad combing through every possible inventory detail, we lasered in on one and it was absolutely perfect. After that, the process was seamless and we even drove home together to pick up my wife to get her take on the X5 I had chosen! What really struck me about Murad was his patience and his down to earth style to cause us both to feel relaxed, especially my wife.

We got back to the dealership and the rest of the night was perfect. Fair trade-in allowance for my SUV, right price for my choice and all that went along with finalizing the deal. By the way, this was all happening right in the middle of the most severe thunderstorms and amazing lightning light shows I’ve ever seen in my life. The huge and all glassed in BMW dealership made it an amazing place to watch this lightning show. Murad and I had a great laugh about all of it and I took it as possibly a sign from above lol! Luckily, no one was struck down that night. It was that intense outside, but inside it was smooth and comfortable. The dealership really is a nice place to visit. I don’t think I’ve ever said that in my life.

Once done, I came back for vehicle delivery after it was meticulously detailed and I was then treated to work with Jacob, the BMW Genius tech who walked me through every feature of my X5. Perfect. Easy. Manageable. Amazing vehicle. Profound experiences throughout.

All in all, A+ experience with fantastic touch-points every time I needed something or had a question. I can’t recommend Murad and the entire BMW Team enough!

Thanks for reading and being interested in such a long review, but it’s well deserved and most worth it. I understand clearly how badly car buying can go and how stressful it can become. Hopefully this gives you some hope and perspective. **Update! We traded in the X3 that we had purchased at auto imports Miami for a new 2024 BMW X3 white fully loaded that had every option that my wife needed included the iDrive 8.0 system. Again Murad shredded the needle to find the exact X3 that we needed....

I bought a used car (Alfa Romeo 2020) from this location about 2 months ago and was promised a 90 days or 4000 miles warranty (auto nation) and you know how it is when they want to sell a car, it's very good, it's in good condition, we're the best dealerships, our cars always problem-free and everything else that goes into this job........ About a month after the car developed a problem and i took it to a mechanic who was also an acquaintance of mine. After diagnosis, the problem was a coolant leak and the heater hose is leaking. I told him you don't need to fix it because i have a warranty from the dealership (auto nation). i called and spoke to the guy who sold me the car (Mr Hamilton) he said don't worry it's under warranty and you will need to go to a AUTO NATION dealer to fix the problem because i live in MARYLAND he gave me some dealers to call so i could take my car there to get it fixed. After i called them no one wanted to see me about my car problem even i had a warranty from auto nation because i have Alfa Romeo and no one knows how to fix alfa romeo problems. I called Mr Hamilton back and he told me not to worry just drop off the car and they fix it! So i went to Audi auto nation dealer. I told them the problem with the leak. I dropped the car off and 2 days later they called me and said the car was find no any leak! i called him and tell about Audi diagnostic and LISTEN WHAT HE SAID TO ME ..this person work to BMW Delray Beach.. that my friend he wants to make money off me, so he presented the problem as a problem with the car. LISTEN LISTEN to a man who sells cars say that his customers is trying to make money off of a car problem, if possible. I'm 56 years old and i haven't given anyone the right to say such things about me. I took the car from there and after few days i called Alfa Romeo dealership and asked them if they accept there Auto nation warranties and they said yes. i took my car over there and after they check they found the problem with leak!! but also find an problem with water pump! ( maybe they wat to make money too;) Alfa romeo contacted Auto nation and the answer they got was that they do not guarantee the damages they found!!! it's crazy that they sell cars with a warranty but they don't want a guarantee!! After all this i called the dealer i talked to them and i called back again the answer was we will talk to the person in charge and we will inform you. In the meantime i have to drive the car and fill up the coolant tank because has a leak . i want to inform all the future customers to be careful when they buying cars from this dealer and pay attention to the warranty they get because i don't thing they have warranty for problems arise. And one more thing i bought the car Sep 17th and still wait for the plates! and the answer was "sometimes take long time to received" Have a lot problems to drive temporary tags

Let me start by saying I am a long time Autonation customer for more than 25 years and have purchased and leased multiple vehicles from this group know the owners personally. I decided to try this BMW location since it was close and have been jerked around from the start to present, I purchased my vehicle here with an extended warranty all paid in full which was interesting experience to say the least filled with misrepresentations that had to be corrected at the closing table. I then decided to service my vehicle at this location w service advisor MR a person who is incompetent and could not get a service appt done on more than one occasion, a simple oil change much any less any service on my car on my appts. After a 3.5 hour oil change today, my advisor MR claimed he supposedly personally paid for my oil change out of his own pocket today and did not charge me. After I picked up my car and drove about 7-8 miles down the road the emergency check engine/low oil pressure light came on SEE BELOW PICS that alerted me to stop vehicle immediately and call roadside?? Are you kidding me? I called BWM back immediately and told them what was happening the woman at the front desk answering the phones told me my service guy MR said to drive the car back to them and to ignore the lights saying to stop the vehicle and not drive it?? That did not sound like smart option since we all know the engine could be blown with no oil.

I (a woman) along with my minor daughter were forced to pull over the nearest gas station and could not continue to drive the vehicle. We waited a while for the car to cool down and then I decided to purchase one quart of oil from the gas station and to see if there was any oil in my car since the lights indication seemed like this was the issue. See below pics. I could not believe it when I opened the hood and checked the oil! There was no oil. I could not believe this BWM dealership left an empty oil pan- NO OIL- yes thats right- NO OIL! They flushed out the old oil but never refilled it with the new oil. I then purchased two more quarts of oil and added them in as well and which turned the check engine light off and was able to drive the vehicle again.

Obviously my oil change was never completed and BMW service department is grossly incompetent. Completely appalling and disgusting service from these punks at BMW. A complete waste of 3.5 hours which was the second occasion my service was botched not to mention the potential irreversible damage they could have done to my vehicle and all the inconveniences. I would have been better off at Jiffy Lube. Shame on you BWW!...
