Ok. I saw good reviews about this place on Google, which is why me and my best friend stopped in for dinner. First off, we wanted a large or extra large pizza to share. Server tells us "No large pizzas unless you're taking out". Umm WTH?? She said they had 12" pizzas only, so we had to order 2 of these personal sized pizzas with pepperoni, one for each of us. VERY WEIRD. In all my years of frequenting Italian restaurants I have NEVER ONCE encountered this. Ok so the garlic knots come they're pretty good, not fantastic, could have used more garlic minced on top and more oil. We each got side salads. I got Bleu Cheese and she ordered The House Italian. She complained that her dressing was nothing more than runny vinegar with not much flavor. So we ordered another Bleu cheese dressing for her salad. Pizza comes, mine looks pretty good but hers is SUPER GREASY looking. She takes 2 napkins trying to sop up the excess oil and saturates both napkins. Ugh! How gross. My pizza for some reason was nowhere near as greasy, so I shared some of my pizza with her. Plus, her crust was burnt on the bottom and mine wasn't. Favorite part of the meal for me was the garlic knots and salad. Atmosphere here is nice, server was just OK, not really much of a personality. We were in the mood for good pizza, unfortunately, we didn't find it here. We won't be returning. The bill was $50 for the two of us which i thought was nuts. This food is not worth $50 for two people! I'm giving the food only 2/5 stars. If you're looking for a huge Pizza that you want to share with your family and pizza the tastes good you're never going to find it here. Sorry Papa Giuseppe, you dropped the ball...
Read morePassed by this restaurant a thousand times so we decided to try it. It was a Friday of New Year's weekend. The place was packed and noisy.
The pizza looked really good, maybe next time. They have a pretty extensive menu. Typical neighborhood pizzeria/Italian restaurant. Nothing fancy.
Dinner comes with a choice of house salad or soup and Garlic rolls. They say their Garlic rolls are famous. I thought they were just fair.
My wife ordered her favorite Chicken Parm, a large portion so she took 1/2 home. Amazing only $ 13.95. Good deal.
I ordered the Zuppa di Pesce over linguini , calamari, shrimp, mussels & clams in a marinara sauce. I asked for Fra Diablo sauce instead. Nice portion with lots of seafood. It was very good and reasonable, $ 21.00.

Read moreI had a GREAT time this past Sunday, Dec. 2, at Papa Giuseppe's. Both the food and the entertainment was of the highest caliber. More details:
Enjoyed the live entertainment- If you like Doo Wop and oldies music, you'll enjoy DooWopVinnie. He greets you when you arrive, and either sings from his music station and area in the front of the room or he meanders around singing WITH customers or handing over the mike for a few notes.Truthfully, we couldn't stop raving--he gets everyone either singing or dancing!!! I had my leg in a cast and even I was hopping along and couldn't stay seated to his fun music!
The food: We were so happily delighted at the freshness and quality. Vinnie was right in recommending the eggplant rollatini. We shared that and the chicken piccata. The presentation was beautiful and both were delicious--the sauces and entrees tasted home-made and with skill and care. The salad was fresh and crispy with a variety of lettuce (not just all plain iceberg lettuce), the wine was good and we loved the cannoli we split, with a generous portion of cheese spilling out from each open end. Then the owners surprised us with little tastes of their cheesecake---also really delicious.
The staff: Tony and Michelle were friendly and great, and Freida our waitress was sweet and very attentive.
In short, we can't...
