Would never use them again. A first-time experience left me heartbroken. I brought in a beautiful dress by famous designer, I left with a new stiff zipper that doesn't work, it bunches up & sticks you in the side once you sit down, & 2 hook n eye loops that can be seen & are not sewn to silk fabric tight enough..Someone there , (since they sub out to other family members) left a hand sewn up stitch which was apparently where they cut the fabric at front of neckline instead of back & tried to cover it up??? After denying the 2 problem areas & refusing to replace zipper for a better quality one, I left very disappointed that they don't stand behind their work!

For $75 it was not handled professionally, sewn professionally & looked like a rush job when they had the dress over a week. They were extremely overpriced for only needing a zipper & 2 tiny hooks. Also told me they will never do work for me again. If you don't stand by your work, you should never be trusted.

They tried to rectify themselves by answering back to me for my review... all I can say is, try them for yourself but they are...

My daughter bought a dress for her High School Homecoming Court. Well, her mom and dad bought it, but that’s not relevant to the review :) What is relevant is that she loved her new dress, and although it was her size, the fit was not quite right.

As you can imagine, attending a Homecoming event with a poorly fit dress was not an option. So instead of looking for another dress (had already been to the malls in PB County), we took it to Cigias Tailor to see if they could give her the fit that she needed.

Gloria and Paddy were super helpful and professional. They had us in and measured in just a few minutes. I think what was most helpful is that they gave our daughter the confidence that altering the dress was the best decision and that they were going to help her look beautiful. And that’s exactly what they did.

By far the BEST place you can go for alterations. Family owned, Gloria & Patty are amazing. Gloria’s late husband was also a very nice man, and fixed a hole in a dress a few years back. I have been bringing my dresses here for almost 10 years, and am always happy with the results. I had a real challenge with an Indian bridesmaid dress, and I knew Gloria would do an outstanding job. She completely removed a layer for me so it would not be so heavy, altered it, and took in the waist. You can’t notice anything was done to the dress, and it is so much lighter and fits perfect. I am beyond happy with all of my dresses I have taken here in the past, but this one just shows how talented Gloria is. Thank you again, and I look forward to bringing more dresses in when needed!
