I absolutely love the Turtle Tavern! This hidden gem of a locals bar is hands down one of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat and hang out with friends. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The staff here are amazing and always make you feel right at home. Speaking of food, let me just say that the Turtle Tavern has some of the best food in town. Every dish I have tried has been incredibly delicious and made with quality ingredients. Not to mention, the portions are generous and always leave me feeling satisfied. I highly recommend trying their famous vegas wings! What I love most about the Turtle Tavern is the sense of community and respect that can be felt in the air. The regulars are all friendly and welcoming, making it easy to strike up conversations with new people. The atmosphere is always lively, especially during game nights, making it the perfect spot to grab a drink and watch some sports with friends. And let's not forget about the pricing - the Turtle Tavern offers fair prices that won't break the bank. This is definitely a plus, especially for us budget-conscious individuals. I found this bar when I was on a quest for great wings. I order mine hot with bleu cheese dressing. Unfortunately, the wings always come mild, even after I complained about not getting hot wings when I order hot wings. Oh well. The quest for great wings continues. Otherwise, it's a nice bar. I like that they have Shiner Bock on tap.

EDIT: It's not that the wings aren't hot enough. It's that they're not hot at all. There is zero spice with their hot wings. None. I actually prefer medium wings, but your "hot" wings aren't even medium.

It's nice of you to offer me hot sauce after you've served the wings, but how does that work when I order them to-go? Even if I eat them there, I expect the spice in good wings to be inside the wings, not on top of them.

Instead of offering me hot sauce, you could fix the problem and make your hot wings hot, and your mild wings mild. That's the real issue here, isn't it?

New Update: I stopped in to give them one last chance to see if they could make spicy wings. The bartender told me "I never send food back. If I don't like it I just don't come back."

I work in the area. The first time I came into Turtle Tavern was during lunch hours. Ihad been several times. The male bartender was always friendly and accommodating. I have not been in for a few months. This last time I arrived around 4. I was believing the experience would be just as accommodating as it was during lunch time. I even have purchased tshirts from them because I loved the "vibe" of the place. Well that has all changed. The night bar ladies are extremely unprofessional ESPECIALLY when the tall blond haired bartender whispered something in the other ones ear then never came back over. I have been in the restaurant business for 30+ yrs. They clearly don't care about locals who would bring others in,only the regulars that were there at the time. Little did they know I usually tip 50%. Needless to say I will never be back nor where their tshirts to promote them . Please I don't need an owners response saying how you apologize either.
