I called ahead and asked if i could come in short notice and they said yes, so i scheduled an appointment for 30 minutes later and showed up 5 minutes early. The girl who was doing my nails was in the middle of doing her own nails. To be fair, I came in with cheap walmart press ons and nexgen remained underneath that day as I was trying to cover my busted nails. My “nail tech”, which I found out later that appointment wasn’t even a current employee, spent almost two hours drilling away at my nails and cuticles. At first I understood since I had super glue and nexgen on my nails, but when everything was smooth she kept going back in with drill and drilling my nails out. It kept getting really hot and hurting me but I didn’t want to say anything. By the two hour mark I was about to ask her to please stop using the drill because I was afraid she would drill straight through my nails. When she finally started working on the actual acrylics, she spent so long applying the liquid powder stuff and at this point I was getting antsy and just wanted to get out of there. I’ll give her this, I personally loved the shape, but no matter how good the shape was what she did to them afterwards ruined them. I don’t understand why nail technician don’t know how to tell a customer “no”. I would much rather them tell me that they can’t do what i’m asking them to do then for them to attempt to copy and fail miserably. I wanted a double lined french tip which I didn’t think was too difficult but required more work then I thought, even though applying the paint took probably not even 15 minutes over the whole appointment. Not only were the colors inverted and not what I told her, it didn’t even look like a french tip design at that point. The lines were so thick and uneven. I wanted to start crying at the drying fans. I tipped the lady $7 for a $55 acrylic set just to go into my car and sob. But that’s not even the worst part, my nails were so damaged from how much drilling she did to them one of them broke horizontally in the middle of my nail and detached from the nail bed and all my nails are super thin and flimsy. There are two things I learned from this experience, 1. Never get acrylics and 2. Spend the extra money to treat your nails. I’m upset I gave to find yet another nail place to go to because unfortunately I will not be returning here which is a shame because everyone in there is so nice especially the...
Read moreHORRIBLE place ! I will NEVER go here again !
It's like a playground in here. They have kids as receptionist. Those girls just run around, loud & obnoxious. I couldn't believe how unprofessional this place was. I've been here TWICE. The first time I came . Hannah was really good with my pedicure, she cleaned my feet up really well however, she was not good with polishing. I could see my nail beds through the polish. I didn't complain. For my nexgen they had some teenager do it, it was crooked , and she did it while I was getting my feet done. They popped off the very next day.
The second time I called to book an appointment , I requested Henry based on the reviews. When I told the "receptionist" what I wanted she goes "Henry doesn't do regular color on the weekends" lol EXCUSE ME ? I asked for the owner I let him know I was very picky and needed things done right his time. He said Henry is VIP and if it's not a design he cannot do regular nexgen for me. He put me with Jennifer for my nexgen, she didn't clean up my cuticles. Her paint job is great however , my nails are crooked/ slanted , not the same length & not square like I asked. She also took off half of my left eyebrow when she waxed them. I honestly wanted to cry !
Hanna did my feet again that day, she cleaned them up nice but did not do a good job painting them Jennifer had to take over so my pedicure went from 30 min - an hour. I still tipped them both well because I knew I would never come back to this place. The owner has an I don't care / cocky attitude about everything !
Coming from being a loyal Venetian customer, This place is just a joke honestly! Very unprofessional, loud & disfunctional place! Just not welcoming at all, & THEY DONT HAVE WINE OR WATER to offer ! I guess I will be driving out of my way to go back to the Venetian there I know I'll get my...
Read moreThis is my first time actually writing a full review. I'm so disappointed at the service I received.
I wish the woman who did my nails would of given me her name, sorry y'all. I went to get a gift card for my friends birthday on Friday. I decided to stay and just get a pedi and nexgen on my hands. So, the pedicure wasn't great she barely removed my cuticles. Then we moved on to the nexgen. I asked for coffin shape...such a mistake my nails look like they are all slanted to the right and my cuticles were so grown out on my hands and she left them exactly that way. I've been to salons that will remove your cuticle with the buffing tool before finishing so that the nails look clean. Before she applied the color part of the nexgen process she asked me if I liked the shape. I said no, and asked if we can just cut them down... she then asked if I had ever had coffin before implying I didn't know what I was talking about... by that time I was furious and I didn't want to waste more energy so I said it's fine just go ahead and finish... She then put chrome on my nails not telling me the price difference. Mind you this is my first time at this salon... my pedi and next gen cost me 83 without tip. Sat. comes around and my thumb nail breaks off. I went back today after work to get it fixed. They said I can only get the nails that I think are messed up fixed. If I remove all of them I couldn't get them re-done even after I expressed how unhappy I was. ???
I asked to clean my cuticles and just fix the thumb..... she told me it would be a 10 dollar charge to clean my cuticles. LOL I just got my thumb fixed and left. I will never go back to that salon again. The service...
