I come here all the time, and understand people can have a bad day or they’re busy training a new employee. But I was trying to return something at cash register #1 and the guy was training a girl and had to wait for a manager, completely understandable. But what could’ve taken him 5 minutes to show the girl how to do the return took 15 minutes cause he was flirting. I get that the guy had a little crush on her, but he was flirting when there was a huge influx of people wanting to check out. And 30 minutes later when I was checking out, they were still flirting. Additionally, they were ignoring customers who were coming up to check out. The cashier on register #8, was getting a small line and you could see he was getting a little flustered. Meanwhile the another employee at register #2 was just messing around with his buddy, and the one on register #1 was, you guessed it, was still flirting. I asked both the boys at register #1 and #2, if they were open and they ignored me. After that I asked the guy in register #8 if he knew if any other registers were open; he had to ask them to take customers. This was my very first time visiting a Hobby Lobby and I have to say I was genuinely impressed. I have always been a loyal Michael’s shopper, but I could not believe how much better Hobby Lobby is in terms of variety and selection. I found so many items here that I have never been able to find at Michael’s, which was a really pleasant surprise.

The store is huge, well organized, and full of inspiration for every kind of project or decor idea you can imagine. I could have spent hours just exploring all the different sections.

The only small downside was that when I first walked in there was a bit of a strange smell. It was not overwhelming, just slightly unpleasant, and it went away quickly once I started shopping. Definitely not enough to take away from the overall experience.
