Office Depot — Local services in Delray Beach

I want to compliment the Store Manager Nadia for how well she runs the Store. Whenever I have been shopping she is always available to help me and other customers find what they are looking for. She gently, but effectively guides the employees so that they can effectively help customers. She is a great multitasker and is always aware of everything going on in the store. This week she and one of her employees helped me to place on online order for a printer stand and to arrange for its delivery and assembly. However, when the delivery kept getting postponed and assembly day was approaching; I repeatedly called the Office Depot Distribution Center to find out if the furniture was actually coming. The first person at the Distribution center said it was definitely on the truck and would delivered on time. When I called an hour after the scheduled delivery time, the next person said it might come in the next 2 days and I explained that the assembly day was approaching and I wanted to cancel the order and the assembly; the person responded that” the order could not be cancelled because it was out for delivery.” I had enough and the next day I went back to the store and fortunately Nadia was in. I explained the problem and my frustration. Nadia checked the system and found the furniture was NOT on the truck the day the distribution center employee assured me that it was. She then called the distribution center and fortunately got to speak to a distribution center representative, who was as customer oriented as Nadia is. He cancelled the order and refunded the furniture part of purchase price back to my charge card and Nadia, in turn refunded the assembly portion of the purchase price back to my charge card and called the furniture assembly company to cancel the appointment. Nadia went Above and Beyond to solve my problem and relieve my frustration. She is an outstanding representative for...

I dont normally rate places but i needed to say something here... I had 4 sheets of regular A4 pages i needed to have laminated as my laminater at home broke this morning ... So i had the plastic sheets needed this was 9:31 am on Saturday 03/02/19 by the way. I asked the guy the cost he said would be $2.67 per page so i said i have the plastic all i need it to run them through the laminater can you not work with me here pls? It was not about the $$ believe me but about the service. He went off to ask his manager an Asian lady who would not even hear the story. She did not even look at me she just told him NO thats the price and thats it own sheets of plastic or not she did not care. I mean even if she came and spoke to me in a nice way would have been acceptable but she has no customer service skills at all.... I walk out just out of principle i will tell all i know about this experiance and never put my foot back in this store again. I just started a new job and need a laptop that i was interasted in there but ill look else were ( Pound foolish and penny wize) perfect example. I did go to Staples the guy was great i explaind my story to him he said well if you all ready have the plastic sleeves i will not charge you just to run it through our laminater Great Customer...

Every experience I’ve had here has been great and very helpful. The team members here are welcoming and always greet you as you enter and make sure to assist you in any questions you may have. They have a variety of fun and creative school supplies. I love that they are willing price match items you are interested in.

I also would like to mention that I am incredibly proud and support Office Depot for including a section of self defense protection for women. Including these devices not only helps to raise awareness but is supporting women. This is more than taking down some creep. These tools also provide you peace of mind. Deciding which item to carry for self defense can sometimes be quite confusing. With the different options to choose from here at least it will help you make a decision as to which of the personal protection devices are best for you.
