About a year ago, December of 2023, my husband and I went to purchase a car from this dealership. We had started out super excited we had a one year old and another baby on the way at the time and wanted a four door car that would fit two car seats but was still a relatively fun car. I had my heart set on owning a dodge charger and we found one I loved here. The initial experience was great they did everything in their power to get us into this vehicle and finally we got accepted and went to get the car. Now as a used car I knew it may not necessarily be perfect but had hoped that it wouldn’t be horrible coming from a dealership. At that time my husband and many of our close friends worked at a dealership so we went in knowing what to look for, or so we thought. We drive three hours there sign the papers and get the car and drive three hours home. On the way home I noticed with my foot that the carpet seemed off so when my husband looked there was a hole in my floorboard, not necessarily something uncommon for a car coming from up north but when we called the next day we were told it was a bought as is car nothing can be done. Ok no big deal worth a try wasn’t completely through the floor not concerned. Three days later I’m excited and I drive from our home in Winterhaven to a friends house in Lakeland to show off my new car. On the thirty minute drive there I hear what sounds like boiling from under my hood. Now I’m concerned I’m calling my friends and they tell me it sounds odd when I’m done there come to them they will check it out for me. I get out of my car and smell something that doesn’t smell right and my friend agreed, by the time I reach the dealership my husband and friends work at the smell is coming into my car and and sounding worse. They check and my coolant is completely gone and has leaked fully out. While there a certified Chrysler tech checks over my car and stated himself that the car should not have passed inspection, and is a danger to myself and my two young children. Nothing can be done car is bought as is so we continue to figure out the issue and spend a bit of money to fix it. My coolant reservoir had been cracked and sealed with something that had come unsealed due to heat. Very frustrating that should have been found if the car had been inspected. Within that year along with those issues I’ve had two tires blow as I’m driving and the other two start bubbling up ready to blow. Mind you I am a careful driver as I now have two kids in the car and do not want to have to replace anything more unnecessary. I am missing random trim pieces around my vehicles that aren’t noticeable until wheels are taken off or inspecting very closely. The rubber strip under my windshield wipers and right above my hood is dry rotting and chipping away in the wind. I have spoken with many people and asked if I’m just over reacting and if this is what comes with a used car and have been told it’s not. Most if not all shouldn’t be an issue within the first year especially coming from a dealership, as it has to be inspected and pass inspection to be put out for sale. This car would not have passed inspection at any dealership I’ve spoken to and has been so exhausting paying on a car that I’m having to fix unnecessarily. I have tried calling and reaching out to discuss this with someone before coming to do a review because I just wanted them to be mindful that this was not ok and should probably be more careful next time. However never got a call back and was unable to...
Read moreAvoid this place like the PLAGUE. For an oil change, 2 small side door moulding pieces, and install, the total cost was $978.50! They charged me $427.99 for 2 hours of labor to put the pieces on. This place will rob you blind and the service is absolutely horrendous. I brought my car in on 8/8 for an oil change and to get the parts replaced. I brought it in first thing in the morning (7 am). Trevor, the service agent gave me his card and said he would call at lunch - he never did. I kept calling and calling, but never got an answer. I tried calling Trevor's direct line and the general service line, but no one answered. I decided to just go into the dealership at the end of the day. Trevor was nowhere to be found. There was a group of people sitting in the back of the service area on their cell phones ignoring the constantly-ringing work phone line. I ended up finding a person from the parts department to fill in. They told me the car was ready and had me pay. Then I went outside and found the parts were not replaced on the car. The person said it could take a month for the parts to come in so they would call once the parts arrived so I could get them installed. That's when Grieco Ford ghosted me. I never heard from them again even though I already paid for the parts. I called the parts department on 11/27 and they said the parts came in in AUGUST. So I guess they were fine ordering the parts for me that I already paid for, but they never planned on telling me that they arrived? They transferred me to Trevor to schedule a service appointment for the install. Trevor, predictably, did not pick up. Trevor then called me back the following afternoon and hurriedly scheduled an appointment for 11/29. On 11/29, I brought my car in a 7 am and a couple short hours later, got a text that the car was ready. That is when I learned apparently they charge $200 per hour for service - who knew being an auto mechanic was so lucrative? Anyway, Trevor was also not there for the pickup - I guess he retreated to whatever abyss he lurks in. The worst part of this whole thing is that the pieces I needed replaced where not due to an accident or damage to the car. Those pieces just randomly fell off my car while I was driving. The Ford Flex 2019 is so poorly made that pieces will literally just start to fall off within a few years of normal and safe use of the car. I've never been in an accident and am a safe driver. So, please do not buy this car, or any Ford.
Greico ford is definitely deleting bad reviews to get a higher rating because there is absolutely no way they have an overall rating this high. I would give them a 0 but that's not possible so I give them a 1. Below I have made a list for you of more enjoyable and less expensive things you can do instead of going to Greico Ford Delray: step on LEGO with bare feet listen to someone run their long nails down a chalkboard watch Carrie Underwood take a Louisville Slugger to your entire car and take it to literally any other auto...
Read moreBy far the worse dealership I’ve ever had the misfortune of doing business with. I bought a Porsche Taycan from Grieco Ford. I had to do the deal over the phone due to living 4 hours away. It started off normal… I called asked for the buyer order the rep Harry sent it over via text. I called the next day looking to move forward with the deal. I didn’t get a response for another week. Mind you it’s not a credit score or willingness to purchase issue. I finally get through to the finance manger Donovan. Which to his credit handled everything beautifully.
Now heres where the problems start…
I had to pick up the car physically due to having done the deal online and for security reasons; which I completely understood. This is a 4 hour trip. I inform Donovan and Harry of my plan to come down to pick up the car (date and time). I kept Harry informed through out my trip giving periodic updates on ETA. When I get to the dealership. I get taken to the car. I immediately notice the car has bald tires (I’ve attached pictures for reference). I point out the fact that the tires are bald and I would like to get them replaced. Harry tells me that there’s nothing he can do… which I found odd… I just bought a $65k car and you’re telling me I have to then drive said car, that I traveled 4 hours to pick up, back up 4 hours with bald tires (oh and a 100 mile charge left in the vehicle… couldn’t even plug the car in to charge knowing I’m coming down).
I’m not even upset at this point because I’m assuming there’s no way, like this must be a mistake. So Harry tells me that his manager isn’t here and the only way he can fix the car is if the manager is here. He then goes on a whole word salad stating how they lost money on the deal and the sale isn’t profitable to them… and I’m sitting there like “is this a justification for not having drive able tires?”
After seeing my demeanor visually shift Harry then says I can call tomorrow and the used car director will be able to help. So still under the assumption that there’s no way this was done intentionally and knowing I had a long drive ahead… I leave.
Not long after I leave… the car literally spins out on me, not once but twice, on two separate occasions. Almost causing a wreck. I also notice the brakes are worn. I had to drive back extremely carefully and to make matters worse it was raining periodically.
I called the next day and got the run around. I called again and left voicemails. No response. No sense of urgency. This is when I start to get upset.
I took the car to the Porsche dealership by me. And the bill to get the car up to standard is over $8k. There were several recalls, tire issues obviously, and brakes. THE CAR FAILED INSPECTION! Literally undriveable until they could get everything fixed.
I still can’t get in contact with anyone. I sent the pictures to Harry and still haven’t gotten a text or call back.
PLEASE UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. YOU...
