Vale Healthy Kitchen - Delray Beach — Restaurant in Delray Beach

I came in today around 5 PM to get a bowl. When I walked in, there was another blk guy in front of me who obviously had been waiting there quite a bit because I can tell he was getting a little frustrated. We both ended up standing there waiting for an extremely long time while two of the girls just paced back and forth barely even Acknowledging the fact that we were even there. The place was literally empty.

The guy in front of me eventually just walked out of line and ending up eventually leaving. I kinda felt bad for him because you never know what’s going through someone’s mind when they are treated poorly due to a racial bias….

There was no sense of urgency or anything until an older Caucasian couple walked in, And then lo and behold here comes everyone running from the back to come and help them. One of the girls even had the nerve to walk directly over to them and totally avoid me even though she knew good and goddamn well that I was standing there first. Again, typical Florida behavior !!

While I was eating my food in the parking lot, I saw the main girl that ignored me and the other guy get into a Toyota RAV4 with Texas license plate and leave. What a joke !! Definitely won’t be back. It’s clear that these ignorant girls need diversity training, which is pretty sad in this day and age. A lot of these people only want Black people in their establishments if they’re working there and as long as it keeps happening, I will continue to keep...

What I Ordered: I ordered the "Guac Around the Globe" bowl in the small size.

Sadly, I forgot to take a picture of the food itself, so I will add the photo they have on their website. Still, it essentially consisted of pulled chicken in a tomato sauce, cilantro rice, a generous serving of guacamole, roasted broccoli, and a drizzle of avocado Caesar dressing.

Pricing: Do I say it's worth the price? Not really, I paid $19.48 on Grubhub, only because I had a $10 credit, so the bowl was half price. The bowl should've been priced at what I paid with my credit, because $20 for a SMALL bowl is expensive, but it was worth a try the one time. It's been on my list of places to try when I'm in the area.

Rating: The pricing is the only reason I am docking a star, and I am giving it a 4-Star review.

Ambiance: When I first walked into the location to pick up my order in Delray Beach, I was in AWE. The location was beautiful. Flowers were hanging from the ceiling, and they had very nice seating areas. The associate who greeted me was very, very kind when he handed me my order in the bag. I didn't catch his name, but he was extroverted, kind, and loud.

Final Thoughts: Overall, I liked the taste; it seemed like a healthy and hearty meal, and a unique spot to try...

My first time trying vale. Inside was a vibe unfortunately I can’t really say that for the Service. I placed an online order at 1:07 PM Upon my arrival, it was approximately 1:48 PM My order still wasn’t ready. Not one employee acknowledge me or ask if I needed any help or if I was waiting on an order. I eventually had to flag down an employee concerning my order simply because the fact I had to go to work and I wanted to know how long my food was going to take. I waited an hour for them to make my food. I was slightly getting pissed because I placed it an hour ago and I had to wait an hour for it to be ready.
