South Florida Garlic Fest — Local services in Delray Beach

Huge Event. Lots of Alcohol flowing. Didn't want to wait in those lines. But it Helped with the party atmosphere for sure. Long lines for food so we grabbed pretzels only. Saw some beautiful dogs there so that was nice to see. We will definitely bring ours next time. We didn't know pets were allowed. If you took the bus they screened your temp. Lot is 1/2 mile away so many just walked. Lots of vendors. They made announcements to wear masks. We did see about 50- 60% of people had them on and many of the vendors wore them too. Bring camping chairs or just sit on the lawn for the music. We had to leave our larger chairs in the car as we could not take them on the bus. Wish they rented chairs for guests to use. If you love food, booze, party atmosphere, and and lots of people, you will love this event. No rides this year so not to many kids there. We liked the boxes marked on the lawn. Wish they limited the amount of guests in at a time but that would be hard to do. We will pass next year. Kudos to the owners of this event. Absolutely love the event! I've attended Garlic Fest many times and each time, I enjoy the amazing food, music, rides for kids, and vendors. Honestly, just an enjoyable overall experience. My favorites include the garlic ice cream, donut, and pizza! Yes, the desserts are surprisingly delicious and garlicky!! They even sell whole garlics! Another thing I love are the mascots that roam around and take pictures with folks! They're incredibly friendly and make the festival even more exciting! Festival was good. Tried some Christopher ranch garlic pesto, was amazing. Watched some cooking demo, very good. Drink and eat before entering, food was expensive, water was $4- . Worst food there...but had the longest lines was the teriyaki /chicken bowls .. avoid at all costs, Including the $25 we paid, and then we promptly tossed ours out, as did people sharing the table under the awning near us. Chicken Was hard, way overcooked, like it was cooked yesterday, bitter garlic flavor. Pizza was ok at $8 slice, burger and fries...
