I went to Rové for the first time as a client yesterday and they made a forever customer. I booked a hair color appointment with Allison Boss who was recommended to me via another stylist that works there who was tending to my fiancé. First, I mentioned my need for a blonde specialist passively to his hair dresser and I couldn't have had more five star service. She immediately knew that Allison would be a perfect fit for me and moments later I was sat in my own chair greeted by Allison and her assistant Brittany. I'm not great at knowing the tones, colors, or even styles that would look best on me - I really was looking for an artist I could lean on to help me identify what I could hold best. Allison came out took her time with me, immediately identified what was off in the state of my hair and what I needed differently. So I booked with her for an appointment two weeks before my wedding, just having a feeling that Rové doesn't mess around with quality, and that Allison was an artist especially for blondes.
My feeling was beyond right, I went in hoping to feel 'a little more myself' after getting a hair cut and just balancing the color in my hair a bit (typically this was the ceiling of my hair coloring experience). I left feeling more myself than I've felt in longer than I can remember, when I say this is the best my hair has ever been done its STILL a gross understatement. My hair looks EXACTLY how it would look naturally if I was exposed to the sun more, it looks so natural, blended, bright, and balanced I don't think it registers for people that its dyed. Allison respected my hair, I am naturally blonde and my typical experience has been that people just want to take my hair as light as it will go because it lifts so easily - despite me not wanting to be platinum or anything close. Allison is a true artist, very clearly taking time along the way to teach her assistant and give her an opportunity to come up with ideas for colors, glosses, glazes etc. This would be enough before talking about the clear culture that surrounds Allison's chair, although we had just met and I was making a major change to my hair before one of the most important days of my life I couldn't have felt more welcome, comfortable, and like I was being taken care of by a trusted friend who wouldn't let me leave without being 300% happy with what was provided.
I will be going back to Allison for as long as I can, I feel so lucky to have had THIS experience before such a big day and so fortunate to have been placed with someone who truly understood what I was looking for (and in this case what I wasn't looking for too) and delivered that beyond my expectations.
100/10 recommend Allison Boss and Rové to anyone who...

If you are even thinking about going platinum blonde — stop what you’re doing and book with Stacy at Rové Salon immediately. You will not find a more knowledgeable, talented, or caring stylist when it comes to platinum blonde hair color. Trust me, I’ve been bleaching and toning my long hair for 15 years — I’ve seen it all, and Stacy is in a league of her own.
Let me share my story: I take platinum blonde seriously. I wash my hair daily, use Moroccan Oil Moisture Repair shampoo and conditioner, do a weekly Moroccan Oil Restorative Hair mask, and rarely use blow dryer (only when necessary) I typically allow my hair to air dry. I never use purple shampoo because it leaves my hair rough and alters the texture. I’ve learned over the years that proper daily maintenance is just as critical as having the right stylist — and Stacy is the right stylist.
Before finding Stacy, I went through a recent horrific experience where a stylist bleached and toned my hair twice in one week — even with the 2nd attempt to fix it , it didn’t get fixed and I still had an orange band in lots of different parts of my head.
Determined to find a true professional, I found Stacy at Rové Salon in Delray through ChatGPT (yes, really!) and after reading her reviews and seeing her stunning work on Instagram, I knew she was the one. Scheduling was a breeze, and before my appointment, she took the time to listen to my hair history and reassured me that I was in great hands. She wasn’t just kind — she was confident, professional, and deeply knowledgeable.
Stacy performed a much-needed color correction, did my roots and a gloss (toner). What truly blew me away: she used two different toners — a first for me in 15 years — and the result was absolute perfection. For the first time ever, I didn’t have to “wait a few days” for the top of my hair to blend in. It was flawless the moment I left the chair.
My hair now feels healthy, strong, and soft — something I didn’t think was possible after the damage it had recently endured. I walked out with the most gorgeous platinum blonde I’ve ever had.
Stacy isn’t just a stylist. She’s a platinum blonde artist and hair healer. She takes her time, explains everything, and puts you completely at ease. I’m so grateful — I finally feel like myself again.
HIGHLY, highly recommend. If you want to go platinum, do it right — do...

I didn’t catch her name, but the receptionist with the gorgeous ginger hair was so sweet and welcoming.
I had my haircut with Denise and while she was very kind and welcoming, I felt like the finesse and artistry I’m accustomed to was lacking. As someone who is familiar with the industry and has had haircuts by some of the best hair stylists in different parts of the globe, I have high standards and I was hoping Rové would deliver. The whole thing felt very Americana.
The wash was not as thorough as I would have liked. The girl who washed my hair left my hair with soap and when I touched my neck, it was very soapy. I had to go to the bathroom and rinse off. The towel that they used didn’t hold my hair, so my hair was dripping over me.
The worst part of the experience was the owner’s disposition and attitude regarding my experience. We had to call multiple times to get a chance to speak to her. She did give my partner a refund as he was unhappy with his haircut. She gave us a hard time and it felt like she was invalidating our experience by saying she has so many good reviews. While I understand that, we’re not everybody and the Delray crowd isn’t representative of everything.
Jodi, the owner, did ask if I wanted to come back, but she mentioned she’d get back to me on availability and never did. It’s unfortunate because I wanted to find my...
