If I could I would leave 0 stars for this place! The owner is completely useless and rude. My husband and I went for a mani/pedi yesterday, I had acrylic nails removed about 1.5 months ago, and had been growing out my nails so I did not want to damage them any further and just wanted a regular polish. The nail technician wanted to buff down the top part of my nail to smooth it out a little, and he claimed there was still acrylic on there... so of course I trusted and appreciated his opinion and allowed him to buff my nails. After going home and when the polish dried I realized he went a little crazy with the drill... my nails were paper thin, and so flimsy that any pressure on my fingertips illicited pain, and ripping of what was left of my nails. Despite all this I realized mistakes happen and I figured I would just go back the following day to have them rectify the problem. When I arrived at the salon, the tech told me there is nothing he can do and started to argue with me about his 15 years of experience.... and suggested I endure the pain and wait a few days to allow them to grow! As if my nails would miraculously thicken over a few days. He also recommended that I get a gel manicure to thicken my nails, when I told him I wouldn’t be paying for it as he is the one that created the problem to begin with, he became even more rude and told me there was nothing he can do. I requested to speak to the owner who wasn’t there at the time, and he told me to come back on another day... As if I have time to keep coming and going... anyhow, demanded to speak to the owner on the phone and instead of her coming to my defense and correcting the problem, she began to blame me for my thin nails and offered only a base coat of gel to try to please me. I explained that I came in to have a polish and pretty looking nails and that would not be an acceptable replacement, and she refused to give me a full gel polish with color and a top coat... when I realized they had no intention of fixing the problem, I requested a full refund. To which she replied she would only refund my manicure and not the pedicure and with there crooked math she refunded me $15 out of the $42 plus tip that I paid the day before... and she let me walk out without a care in the world... I ended up going to a nail salon down the street that properly corrected my nails and even gave me a discount when they saw the condition of my nails! Please see the attached photos in my yelp review... Venetian Nail Salon’s don’t have clue about customer service, and don’t stand behind their work. I would highly recommend that you stay away from this place.. it’s not worth the hard ache...
Read moreI should have left before my mani pedi even started. Arrived on time for my appointment and was given mere seconds to choose a color. The technician told me to sit and I said I just needed a few more seconds to choose a color. She barricaded the way and said no, that I had to sit. I explained I hadn’t gotten a chance to look and she very rolled her eyes, aggressively grabbed all the colors, pushed past me, and slammed them at the chair. I was so intimidated at that point that I just followed without saying anything and hurriedly picked a color. The color she brought me was not the color I asked but I didn’t mind keeping it on my toes as I am heading up north where I will be wearing boots anyway. I asked if I could have a different color on my hands and she rolled her eyes again but let me get up to choose a different color. I chose, brought it back, and finished my manicure. I asked for a short round shape and she cut my nails down to a nub and made them boxy. It wasn’t until after I left that I realized how bad everything looked. There was still polish all over my skin on both my hands and toes. My pinky toe nail polish was already peeling off by the time I got to my car. The nails on my hands are boxy, uneven, and slanted. Quite honestly they look like children’s nails that have been bitten. After a really difficult week, I was hoping to relax and recharge with a mani pedi, only to leave more stressed and in tears. I will not be returning to this salon, nor would I recommend...
Read moreI don’t enjoy this but I have to. I went to this place for the first time this week and spend almost $200 on a new set of acrylics and a pedicure. The nail tech did the best he could with the design but what was terrible was the application. When the acrylic was applied on my nails first problem. The nail tech filed my natural nail way too much on the side trying to get rid of excess acrylic and ended up separating my own nail from nail bed on the side. I thought the pain was only temporary but it lasted days! Until I realized what was happening. And also my natural nails where not buffed properly before applying the acrylic coating on top of them so they ended up popping up 2 days later. To the point where I had to were a bandage on my finger on mother’s day because it was in extreme pain. I have 2 kids so can’t just walk away and go to the nail salon I need a babysitter and no one was available on mother’s day. The nail tech was so concerned about the numbers at this place that didn’t take the time to do things the proper way and ended up harming me. I called and was told they could fix it for me but I’m never stepping back into this place. Be careful if you go there. Complete...
