We had a special occasion last night, and I made the mistake of choosing this restaurant because it was convenient and had good reviews for the most part. ‘WOW’, were we wrong. First, our wait person was very good, and the service for the most part was good. The food, however, was the worst we ever experienced in many years of living in Florida. I also never can recall writing a review as bad as this. Starting with the appetizers, my friend had the burrata, a meagerly portion, with no taste at all...just a runny blob, with lots of greens under it. I ordered the fried calamari. It was not really fried and was mushy. We asked that it be sent back and made crispy. This was done, and it was crispy, but had no taste at all, with an overload of incredibly hot peppers. A few are fine, but this dish was about one third super hot peppers. It was not edible. OK, we thought we had chosen badly. The main course was the special of the evening, described in glowing terms on the special’s menu as a wonderful assortment of many seafood's over pasta, and it specifically said it could feed 2 to 4 adults. There were only two of us, so we thought it would be great. We were so mistaken! Neither of us ever saw such a small portion of the so-called seafoods, the most meager portion either of us had ever seen, four tiny mussels, three very small shrimp, three pieces of calamari, and on top of the overcooked pasta was the smallest half a lobster either of us had ever seen. When we took the lobster meat out of the shell, it made exactly two small pieces, one for each of us. There was hardly any sauce, and it also was tasteless. There were also no sides. We asked for more sauce, some grated cheese, and some red pepper flakes, hoping we could make the dish edible. Nothing helped, but we were disgusted, and left most of it. A person came over to the table who said he was the manager, and asked how everything was, we told him about both dishes, and he offered to go back to the kitchen and get us more seafood or get us different dishes. We opted for the additional seafood since we were rather distressed at that point. A few minutes later he returned, and said “ the manager (it turned out he was not the manager, he had just told us he was) said we could not have any more seafood, which was his suggestion, and he said they would do nothing else, except give us a couple of desserts. The wait person came back with two small cannoli's on one plate, which were mediocre at best. We only ate half of them. We then paid and left....no apologies, no nothing. The wait person knew how upset we were, and really tried, so she got a nice tip. It was not her fault. What was supposed to be a special evening was a total disaster. I am sad to write such a review and waited 24 hours to discuss this with my friend, and then decide. We concluded it was such a terrible experience that we had to give this negative review. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, and as stated, our wait person was good, but the chef was so...

Absolutely awesome night! I heard that this was the best Bourbon Bar and Restaurant in Florida and they did not disappoint... My wife and I were in the area, for our 22nd Anniversary and decided to see if we could get in without reservations. We went kind of late, so there was no issue's seating us. We sat outside, as the weather was very comfortable, and it couldn't have been better.
Alex our waiter was extremely pleasent and helpful as he guided us through our selections for the night. We decided on Ceviche and some Korean Fried Chicken bites for appetizers, both very tatsy with the cerviche being extremely fresh!
I had the Bourbon Pork Chop which was perfectly cooked, and the charred brussel sprouts were excellent! Chrispy charred leaves with the right amonut of salt, wonderful! My wife had the Fried Chicken Sandwich and Truffle fries, which she said were perfect, real, fresh cut potatoes. She loved it!
We finsihed off the meal with Bourbon Bread Pudding and a scoop of ice cream - dense and sweet... We ate the whole thing!
And to top the night off, I decided to order a couple of pours of bourbon that I never had before from their EXTENSIVE Whiskey Bible... And this is why I will ALWAYS go back any time that I'm in FL, and why I will always recommend them... I had ordered a pour of Booker's 30th and Pappy 15. A little pricey, but it was our anniversary. John Fitzgerald, our "Spiritual Advisor" came up and apologized that he didn't currently have those on hand. We talked some things over, about what my tastes were, and why I was ordering thoses and he suggested an Old Fitz 15, and an EH Taylor Barrel Proof. Now he could have up sold me, and offered bourbon's that were as expensive if not more! But he didn't! He offered me what he felt matched my palate, and what he felt matched the "specialness" of the occasion. At literally half the cost of what I had previously selected! And we had an excellent discussion about many of the different bottles in the collection. I'm a customer for life after that!
And Tyrell, the AGM was very kind to stop by after the meal to check on how everything was and wish us a happy Anniversary!
So all in all, a great night, REALLY good food, an excellent selection of whiskey, and a very attentive staff who took care of us on a special evening. THANK YOU Alex, John "Fitz", and Tyrell -...
Read moreI probably had wrong expectations, so that’s on me. For some reason, maybe because of some pics I saw I thought of Warren as a relaxing whiskey bar, maybe with some jazz music, a place to enjoy some special whiskeys, relax and have a good conversation.
But….I forgot this is Delray Beach, not Chicago, NY or DC so things were completely different than expected.
First of all, the place is loud, I mean very loud. It’s more of a restaurant than a bar, in fact the bar area is very small while there are plenty of tables to sit down and eat. My wife and I sat at a bar and could barely speak to each other, that’s how loud it was. The music was loud, the patrons were louder, another world respect to what I thought I would find.
Anyway, it is what it is so we ordered a couple of cocktails. Bartender puts up a little show, but the result is an expensive cocktail (everything is very expensive here) with lack of punch. I had better and stronger cocktails at more down to earth little bars.
It was 9 pm and we were told we couldn’t order any food because the kitchen closes at 10 (!?)
Long story short we were disappointed but the 1 star is not because of that, as said that’s on us. It is because we are talking about a place that’s more show than anything else, fancy, elegant décor, but the substance is lacking and so is personality.
Very expensive menu, expensive and forgettable cocktails, loud as it can be; I do understand they are provided with the southern Palm Beach County crowd wants, which is great look first and it’s not their fault is people sitting at the same table feel the need to yell while talking to each other (that’s also because of the loud music), but I don’t see one reason to come back here and splurge on average cocktails in this environment. Whiskey prices are more expensive than you will find in serious whiskey places in Washington...
