ALDI — Local services in Denton

Today , which is 10 August 2025. This is the only time that I have ever had a complaint against Aldi’s or their workers. Their produce and our prices are amazing, but there is one employee and or manager that is very rude and disrespectful. He was a white male probably about 3540 years old and had these round glasses and he was very rude to me. I go into Aldi’s every day and I don’t have a problem with any of the other employees but today this man was very rude and disrespectful. I go in there almost every day and purchased something so I am always a paying customer. And I was waiting on my ride which was public transportation on the outside of the building where the pick up location was for the public transportation and the white male who works there whether he is a manager or just an employee I’ve seen him working at the cashier place before I mean at the checkout where they handle money and what not at the cash register. Anyways he came outside just harass me after I had purchased from his establishment, which is Aldi’s on South Loop 288 and he came out to harass me while I was waiting for my public transportation and asked me to leave, and when I was just sitting there minding my own business after I had literally only been out of the store for about two or three minutes I was waiting for my public transportation ride, which was another four or five minutes away he was very rude to me and told me to get on like I am some kind of homeless person that just hangs out at his establishment which is not true nor was I trespassing because I was a paying customer. And I ended up informing him that I was waiting for my Gozone ride which is the public transportation and that it was about to come in four minutes and then I looked again and it said five minutes, but it is horrible daddy’s employees or the managers of these establishments are harassing people who live daily normal lives and do not have any mental health issues and do not even trespass. He is harassing a paying customer which is me so I do not have any respect for that man whatsoever and to be honest, it makes me want to never go purchase anything at Aldi‘s ever again That store specifically! He has horrible customer service. I do know that after I told him what was going to get the Gozone? I also wished him to have a blessed day not in any cocky or hateful manner just because it seems like he literally came out just to harass me and yet again I was a paying customer so at this point, I totally feel disrespected by that all these employee and our manager whomever he may be. The rest of the staff are wonderful and amazing and like I said they have good prices on the produce, but that one individual who works there makes me not ever wanna purchase anything from that Aldi ever again I should’ve took a picture of him and posted it online here, but I did not think to do so. it was my friend and i’d first time ever going to aldi yesterday and we had the most unwelcoming experience with our cashier maria. she was so friendly with the older people in front of us and when i checked out she wasn’t the most friendly but she wasn’t rude. she was just dry and short with me which isn’t what i had an issue with. what i did have an issue with is when she checked out my friend, instead of taking everything out of her grocery bag like a normal person she dumped everything out of the bag with no regard of what was in the bag. she dropped cans on my friends kiwis and she’s lucky that my friend didn’t buy anything too fragile. not only that but her face just dropped in she was checking out my friend she had the most sour face. i thought i was imagining it but my friend had noticed it too. not only that but she didn’t even wait for the receipt to finish printing before moving onto the next customer. and i genuinely don’t know if aldi is supposed to bag your items but it was only one big reusable bag and it wouldn’t have taken that much effort to do so. my friend had a fair amount of groceries so it took her a minute to bag all of her stuff because nothing was bagged for her and maria looked so annoyed that my friend wasn’t done grabbing all her stuff. if maria was actually good at giving us customer service, she would’ve at least waited to be one with one customer before moving onto the next. the first or experience was so incredibly disappointing especially coming from someone that has worked customer service for years. we will never be coming back after...

Excellent place for groceries and all the extras! Best reason to shop here: save money and still get quality. I like to go inside other Aldi stores in other towns to see how things are run. It’s pretty consistent across the board, but I think ours here in Denton is one of the best. It can sometimes be a treasure hunt to see what have they marked down prices in all parts of the store. I often find things marked down if it’s approaching a sell by date (but it might still be 2 weeks or more away!). The employees are efficient and helpful. The lines move fast. Because it’s a smaller store, you can get in and out in 30 minutes with groceries for the week. They do have the option to buy online and pickup or delivery through Instacart. I have shopped this way, and I have had no problems. The prices are slightly higher on Instacart than in the store. The ingredients in the foods are often better than what you’d find elsewhere, which is another reason I keep going back. Large variety for gluten free, keto, lactose free, and other special diets. They have special buys throughout the year. Take a quarter to get a cart and shop (get the quarter back when you return the cart), and then take your own bags or buy them at the counter when you shop.
