This couch is 2 years old. We bought a whole set when we bought our house. From the get go I did not like them. They are very uncomfortable and when they moved the couches in, it was as if they literally just assembled pieces of the furniture together in the living room. Even before the one year mark hit, the recliner on the right side of the couch spontaneously broke. The whole mechanism just fell apart. This has not been a heavily used couch. It's the loveseat that is used the most but it's not very comfortable, however it has surprisingly held up better than the couch that is used way less often. After the mechanism for the recliner seat on the right broke, foam started falling out from the bottom of the couch. So it has been sinking ever since, to the point where there is now a hole from the couch cushion straight to the floor, as you can kind of see in the picture. Then, just the other day, someone was sitting on the couch and leaned on the armrest, as a person would do when sitting on a couch. It was a quick pop and when we looked, the armrest was barely hanging on, which you can see in the picture, where it's just bare wood holding it together. When you buy furniture, you expect it to last longer than 2 years. This is Walmart quality furniture. We purchased furniture from this store over a decade ago and had received really good quality furniture. We decided to get new furniture to go with our new house, but this is not the same quality of what it was before. I would recommend you stay far far away from this store. It's over priced and terrible quality. Save your money and go somewhere else. We now have to find another set of couches, which we shouldn't need to be doing right now. That's not expenses...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEDIT: Iām changing my review from a 5 star to a 1 star because I was mislead. I bought a $4,400 leather couch. I told our salesman, Payton, up front that I was very on the fence about purchasing a couch because I have a cat, and I was worried she would scratch it. He was extremely confident in telling me that it would take 250 lbs of force in a single spot to tear the leather. I asked him if leather or fabric would be better, and he said he would be shocked if my cat was able to scratch the leather because she would be unable to apply 250 lbs of pressure to tear it. The leather was also more expensive than the fabric. I told him it would be a deal breaker for me if my cat was able to tear holes in it. He again reassured me that it wouldnāt happen. Well, I bought the couch for $4,400. Iāve had it for 3 weeks and my cat has scratched TONS of holes in it. Iām beyond upset and feel very mislead. My cat is small and weighs 11 lbs so Iām very doubtful she is able to constantly use 250 lbs of pressure to tear the leather. This was a lie to make a sale, and I was fooled. Also, one of the chargers stopped working already and the buttons are sticking and not working on the inside recliners.
PREVIOUS REVIEW: Payton helped us out and got us the best deal he could! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Weāve been looking for couches for a long time, and they helped create our perfect set up! I appreciate that they are no...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy original five star review was below. We ordered about $3000 worth of furniture and paid in cash. They called and said that the table that we had selected was out of stock mind you while we were buying the furniture. I said I could come pick up the table and they told me no youāre spending $119 for delivery will get it to you After I find out that it has been discontinued and the only one left is the floor model they wanted to give it to us at full price and make us drive up to the store to pick it up. I didnāt hear anything about us paying the delivery fee anymore And they said they wouldnāt discount it for being the floor model because nothing was wrong with it after I said I wanted a refund. They called me about an hour and a half later saying they would get it to us discounted, but we are deciding that we want a refund and we are also gonna refund our insurance/warranty claim and we will not be going back. We shouldāve just stuck with our gut and went to Nebraska furniture.
We wanted to right a review for our man Pat at the Denton location. He provided great service without being overbearing, or hovering. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions in a timely matter, while also being quick to walk us through policies like the insurance plan for our new couch. 10/10 recommend. We will be coming back in the...
