Came because of the good reviews. BELIEVE THEM! I dropped my laptop and broke the hard drive, and I was sure that I was just going to have to say goodbye to all that was on it. Trent was super helpful and friendly from the beginning, and I left the computer on Friday. On Tuesday the computer was returned to me in EXACT PERFECT WORKING ORDER, with all of my files and a brand new hard drive. I didn't lose anything!! All of my old programs were installed. Choose Local Circuit if: You want your computer back in action quickly! (My brother in law's computer was at Best Buy for over two months. So much stress and hassle...) You need someone super knowledgeable and experienced You want great service for a reasonable cost!

I had a Toshiba laptop, Satellite Series, which had given me fits since the day I brought it home, brand new from BB (a large national electronics chain). After the warranty expired I took it to the guys at local circuit. They did the job at a very reasonable rate. After diagnosing and providing an estimate, for which the cost was applied to the total ticket cost, repairs were conducted on time as predicted. The tech actually did some research, at no charge, to discover that this model/series had in fact been manufactured, shipped and sold with defective hard drives. He showed me his research which included a class action lawsuit for damages/claims for consumers who purchased those products. On another occasion they were able to retrieve critical documents and photos from a device that had been dropped and was unrepairable, saving irreplaceable memories and documents. Took my computer in at the end of the day, was told I would have an update in the morning with the issue once it could be confirmed. Had to call 3 times the next afternoon to get anyone, much less what the issue was. Then I was told it was taking longer to transfer my data so it should be ready Thursday. Surprise suprise, took 2 more calls to figure out it would be Friday before it would be ready. Showed up Friday after they called in the morning to say it was fixed, took it home and it had the exact same issues. It took 3 more calls to get them to tell me they couldn't do anything for the next 2 days and the manager had already gone home so I was out of luck. Summary: an extra day without my computer, numerous phone calls, and $120 bucks got exactly the broken machine I started with.
